    90s electronic scene is a deep rabbit hole to go down with very many styles and innovations. For female Fridays I recommend Morcheeba - The Sea; Leftfield - Original (with Toni Halliday); Sneaker Pimps - 6 Underground; Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy; Death in Vegas - Hands Around My Throat... and something an bit rockier Echobelly - Dark Therapy. All well-known 1990s hits in the UK.

      The whole Trip Hop / Bristol Sound Genre hasn't been covered yet. As Italo Pop and French Chanson and Lounge (De-Phazz, Kruder&Dorfmeister, ...).
      So to all the Country Fans complaining that their music isn't covered enough: there are whole Genres not barely touched so far, but I'm looking forward.

    "Sweet Harmony" by The Beloved is a quintessential 90s dance anthem that still holds up today. Led by the soulful vocals of Jon Marsh, the song's blend of catchy hooks, lush synths, and a driving beat embodies the carefree, hedonistic spirit of the acid house and rave scenes that inspired it. With its euphoric melody and Marsh's soaring vocals, "Sweet Harmony" is a classic example of the Balearic beat style that dominated UK club culture in the early 1990s.

    Hi Jay and Amber! It's Andrew Erroch fae Paisley in Scotland here. I'm happy to see you discovering acts that have been known to many of us for so long, particularly in the UK, where this group came from. As others have said, you should try to react to the proper videos and also check out their other hits. This was their most successful in the UK, getting to No.8 in our charts, followed by 'Hello' at No.19, 'Celebrate Your Life/You've Got Me Thinking' at No.23 and 'The Sun Rising' at No.26 in our charts. Keep up the good work, you two! Æx 🙏

    • @BuddyBoy68
      @BuddyBoy68 18 дней назад +1

      I should have said those numbers were in our main Official UK Chart, but they also reached No.15 twice in the UK Indie Chart with their singles 'A Hundred Words' and 'Surprise Me/Forever Dancing' in 1986 and 1987. They also had a No.22 hit in the same UK Indie Chart in 1987 with 'This Means War'. Clearly, this was a band with a vision of the future and still relevant today, if not even more relevant. Æx 🙏

    Their other big hit was 'The Sun Rising' which has a similarly smooth groove.

    If those guitars in the background aren't just decoration you definitely want to watch Tina S. "Moonlight sonata" by Beethoven on electric guitar. She's an absolute prodigy.

    I'm going to lead in with this, Jay and Amber, you'll have content for YEARS with this band. Every song is a banger! I remember hearing this at Patrick Henry Village's Rec Center when ex-wife did hot yoga there with the other military spouses. They used this song as a warmup song. Speaking of warmup songs, I have just the band for you Jay and Amber! RSR Army, none of you want to see Jay and Amber jam *Clutch, come on! Are you serious? Clutch* is just Jay's speed (and Jay, dont' go closin your eyes, you don't watch the video, you'll miss the whole message of the video-🤣) and Amber's gonna rock the F out! I would start out with:
    Clutch: In Walks Barbarella

    Clutch is a self-label band (Weathermaker Music), so Copyright isn't a problem.

    Hey Jay & Amber, I thought I'd suggest another band that you've reacted to before, if interested. "The Tedeschi Trucks Band - Hear My Dear" (by the channel: Tedeschi Trucks Band) --This song is from their album called "I Am The Moon: I. Cresent" released in 2022, and I believe it's their most recent album.

    Underworld - Born Slippy is definitely worth checking out. Iconic 90s dance tune that features in the movie Trainspotting. Also you have to hear the French band Air - All I Need.

    Didn't twig that this song was this song from the title or artist. Haven't heard this song in a long time, probably since my student days just a few years after this came out. What a great song. Don't really know how to follow this up, maybe What is Love - Haddaway or I've Been Thinking About You - Londonbeat? Have you guys done either of these yet? Don't remember you having done either. Then there's The key, The Secret by Urban Cookie Collective, another banger!!!
