Power of Hanuman lies in his devotion. There have been many powerful people like characters of Mahabharata, gods like indra, but none of them are worshipped. But Hanuman is different from all ,as he is the greatest devotee and never has even a slightest of ego on his powers. So he is worshipped like Shiva and Krishna are worshipped.
Yup Bcoz he is also a "Rudravtar", An avatar of Rudra i.e Shiva, came on earth to help Shri Ram on his mission.

Bhagwan Hanuman is an avatar of Mahadev Shiva and when he was little boy he was granted powers from all gods. if he wants he can destroy whole Ravans kingdom and even kill Ravan by himself when he first went to Sri Lanka but he gave that chance to Bhagwan Ram so that he can fulfill his husbands dharma (duty/responsibility). 🙏🙏🙏
