This was very interesting. The train stops are confusing to me because it seems some were right by busy freeways and some were out in desolate areas or business districts. Do those people have to walk a long distance what they get off the train? Like with the college does a person have to cross many roads once they are off the train? Thanks for filming your ride I did enjoy it but had ? marks in my head once they leave the train platform how they got to their detestation.
The Skyline stops are at the old and new TheBus terminals. You can drive to the Transit terminal and there would be many parking stalls for you to park and take the rail. You can also take TheBus to & from the transit. You can use the Holo card, TheBus pass, for TheBus & also for the Skyline. Most of the Skyline stops are set at the major locations such as the Aloha Stadium, Pearl Ridge Shopping Center, Pearl Highlands & so fort, which most are short walking distance from the transit. It is hard to tell from the video as the rail is built very high above the ground. I hope my explanation was okay and thanks for your comment. 😊
Thank you so much for your explanation.I will say the train is very nice inside and seems very clean and quiet. I have watched videos on trains in Japan and this train reminds me of them. Again, thank you so much for your explanation. @@HawaiiOnBudget
You can purchase preloaded holo cards at ABC & 7Eleven stores in Waikiki. You can also purchase at TheBus/Honolulu Rail Transit stations.
Aloha!
I always look forward to your videos.
I went to Hawaii about 5 years ago.
How much is the train fare?
You would need a holo card that is $2 and load with one way fare of $3 to ride and X2 for round trip or all day fare.
Thanks for your comment.
