Honestly, the grandma (OP's mom) is the best advocate that child has. Saw a similar case that hit close to home. Pics on pick-up and drop-off overcame any defense the other parent had.

Story 1 only has one victim n\and thats the baby, the brother chose his babymother and should deal with all repurcussions and so should anyone who stuck around, its not victim blaming the replies prolly told OP actions have consequences

There was a story a couple of years ago (not on Reddit) where CPS sided with the abusive mother who would beat and hurt the child. You know what happened to this little girl? Even despite the fact that the grandmother desperately tried to get custody and make it so that the child never had to deal with the abusers again, the child was brutally murdered. The CPS caseworker who was dealing with this specific case was on the side of the mother because they happened to be friends.
It seems this video theme is female abusers and I'm glad it's been touched on.
Story One: The system favors abusers a lot, but I find it especially sinister that even with evidence, that shelter took the GF's side and did everything they could to protect her. Even though the baby is actively being abused. Putting victims back with their abusers is what leads to another Dear Zachary or Take Care of Maya story.
Story Two: While the wife in the second story has remorse, to subject anyone, let alone an abuse survivor to assault over coffee is absurd. Not to mention how she felt comfortable doing so while their child was there? 🤢
Wife needs way more than just a med change, she needs urgent therapy and anger management. I wouldn't have blamed OP if he pressed charges has she not agreed to those term.
Argue all about inequality towards women, but all I can say is if the genders were reversed that man would have been given life in prison and possibly also killed in prison cause of the nature of crime
Domestic abuse advocates are not here to help men. Even though it's been proven that 50% of domestic violence is committed by the women in the relationship. It's disgusting how easily a woman can manipulate the justice system to benefit her in almost every single aspect of a relationship.
That's because a hit from a man is much more destructive while women express their aggression through reputation destruction and gossip which exactly happened to OP's brother.
@@shanewoody4232 That's a disgusting excuse for abuse. Women have a higher propensity to be more violent to their partners than men are and there are plenty of men who are in need of shelter from abusive relationships. Let's not make excuses for ugly behavior.

I’m sorry, but is no one gonna talk about the abusive gf’s mother’s reaction to this whole situation. When OP’s family needed help with all the drama the abusive gf was causing and when she called her up to come and deal with her daughter, she LITERALLY LAUGHED in their faces and told them that She’s their problem now’. Like WTF does that even mean. She basically knew that her own daughter was deranged and unhinged and she still decided to let OP’s brother date that.
