    I'm a classic Klein guy, I do a lot of industrial electrical work and have both the insulated and non-insulated, Klein screwdrivers , diagonal cutters and wire strippers are hard to beat...millions of electricians and linemen can't be wrong.

    I have large numbers of Wera screwdrivers - I really like the handle shape and they are very affordable, but I wish they did a specific JIS range, I have to go to my Vessel or Laser drivers for those.

    I bought a set of Felo wood-handled screwdrivers, and mostly I've felt that they are nice. I have only two quibbles: 1) The plastic finish kind of defeats using wood as a handle. I've considered taking some sandpaper to them to get that slippery finish off. 2) The #2 Phillips is the one I have used the most, and unfortunately, it's already time to replace it, because it's wearing out too quickly. I understand that the Phillips tip is designed to slip at a certain torque, but it's worn too much after just a few years for the reputation. I'm to receive a Vessel Megadora from A-------- today, so I'll compare as things go along.

      Very nice. Thanks for sharing your experience with them. Ya I know alot of people actually sand them down and stain them the color they want

    I don't have all these screwdrivers but the felo wood handle Is a great design I have beat them up to the point of them losing the leather cap and they do slip a little bit but all In all there great for the price. vessel comp grip is great for actual grip in the hand you can get some real bite

    I have that wera. Visually, I really like the shape, color, and design.
    I've tried it for a few weeks, exclusively only using that wera at work, but I just can't get comfortable with it. It's definitely not designed for my small asian hand. haha
    Ball grip screwdriver is my go to screwdriver. I prefer Anex than that vessel though.

      @TonyTheTechnician  5 месяцев назад

      That's understandable, not everyone will like a single design. Definitely subjective 👍 I tried to like the usa southwire handles and just cant. As long as you know what you do like. That's all that matters

    Great video, would have loved to hear how would your current sets (like the Tekton or the Capri) compare to these ones. I feel the Southwire would compare better to something like Doyle and Quinn, too bad I've only seem then in sets and not sold individually.

    • @TonyTheTechnician
      @TonyTheTechnician  Год назад +1

      Ya I didn't want to include any of the screwdrivers I had already owned bc I knew multiple videos have been made on them. But I may still do a comparison of them. Just didn't want it in the showdown if that makes sense

    Hey Tony, about a month ago I rewatched your Vessel review. I really like the #2 and#3 Regular Vessels I have, and was wondering about the Megadora vs rhe Megadora impacta. Turns out, the Impacta can act like a Hand Impact!! I snagged a #2 but haven't used it yet. Same great Vessel quality of course. I figure it may come in handy some day. (Brake Rotors anyone)?

    Having no extra tip coating or blasting makes a big difference in my opinion as far as tip hardness and longevity? Not that that makes a screwdriver bad, just personal preference?

    • @TonyTheTechnician
      @TonyTheTechnician  Год назад

      It depends on what it is already coated with. If it is a non chrome blade I would want a tip coating. If it's chrome a blast finish on the tip would be nice. And ya just like you said it does make a difference. It was interesting to see how different each manufacturer decided to do these
