What a lovely vlog ❤. Fredericksburg is a fun and scenic day trip from Austin. I'm excited to hear more about your new chapter in Austin!! South Padre is by far the best beach in Texas!! It is more of a 6 ish hour drive depending on where you are in Austin, but totally worth it. Port Aransas is about 3 hours. It's a cute beach town as well.

Damon does have shirts then!😂 You might want to test if you really need to have the Mike so close to your mouth. Most can pick up audio ok when clipped to clothes. Might make life a little easier. Fun to hear how different you each use your home space. You indeed do sort of have a two story house! Is rent in Austin about same as Seattle? Does your airline have a base closer to Austin? Or would you stay with Seattle cos you like it as base (not so much as to live in I know😊)
The new microphones do make a difference in your sound quality, Alyssa. It is awkward, however, as a viewer, watching your constant hand movement to keep the mic close to your mouth. Are these mic's the type that you can clip to your clothing? Clipping it close to your collarbone will not impede the sound, and then the mic becomes inconspicuous. Just an observation to help your transition to using these things! As always, Cheers from GEG!
Awesome! But I'm confused why you chose to move so far away from your job? I mean, that's one heck of a commute! What if your flight up to Seattle is delayed and you are late, etc. That sounds really stressful lol
I leave with hours and hours in between my shift time and make sure I have a couple back up flights planned for this very reason! It actually hasn’t been as stressful as I thought it would be!
