@@Klosguitarscarbonfiberwhen you get a Canadian dealer I will. I have purchased from United States before and it is nothing but a hassle for a Canadian.
Was gonna put my MD 315 on our sailboat but man this thing is tempting. I passed on the pre-order with not being able to see/hear it. But yeah… this may do the trick. (Wish it was an oval hole, but also understand that is much more niche)
Wondering how an oval-hole in that material might sound; this one sounds XLNT; thanks for the review & demonstration. 83rd LIKE posted; 3,505th view. But, to be honest - at $2600+/- I'm not convinced it sounds 5X better than several 'budget' mandolins I own (upgraded with deer-antler saddles, that is.)
That could be a cool idea to experiment with different oval-hole shapes, and thanks for the kind words, we think it sounds great too! At the price point, you are not only paying for sound quality, but also for build quality and durability of the Carbon Fiber Material. This mandolin will last you a lifetime!
@@Klosguitarscarbonfiber Sure do! I perform an average of 1 - 2 times per week in and around the midwest region. Festivals, concerts, bar gigs, and radio / TV. I'm at the Irish Fair of MN this coming weekend and then I'll be performing several showcases at the Folk Alliance Region Midwest conference in October. I'd be happy to take one of these everywhere and show it off to other players in the folk / Celtic / Bluegrass circuit. Cheers! (sorry for the delay I was traveling)
This is by far the best demo of these carbon fiber mandolins. Dante , you're a great player and you give an honest review. Sounds great!
Glad you liked it! We'll let Dante know! Such a talented player!
Pretty excited about this. A mandolin that can go anywhere.
Exactly! Super stoked to see the places they'll go! River Rapids, Campsites, Mountain Tops!?
That is a beautiful instrument!
Never been more hyped for an instrument. Now that Rainsong is out of business my next acoustic might be the grand cutaway
the grand cutaway is the best acoustic guitar we've ever designed!
Wow sounds superb, ❤
Thanks! We think so too! Stoked to have you hear it in person!
I really want this.
Well go ahead and getchu' one! klosguitars.com/products/carbon-fiber-mandolin?variant=41034526785579

That resonance sustain, ( Ring ), is crazy !
And it not being vulnerable to the elements, ( Within reason ), is a real plus !
Cool.....!
🤘😎
carbon has amazing sustain!
Beautiful…it’s times like this I wish I was an influencer lol
Sounds great. I’m looking forward to receiving mine and trying it on stage. And to using it as a canoe paddle. (Grinning)
