Many do not realize that when Russia talks about negotiations it means that the talks will be about the surrender of Ukraine. That is, Ukraine’s acceptance of all the conditions of Russia. And no one is going to hold these negotiations with Zelensky, his legitimacy is at least questionable. Even if peace is now signed on behalf of the President of Zelensky, what is to prevent his successor from declaring these agreements null and void? In addition, the Ukrainian side does not express any desire to conduct such negotiations and continues its stupid nonsense about the Crimea and the border of 91 years. Between Russia and the United States, all that happens is a big-bet game, eventually this game will end, players will rake in chips and go to prepare a new game. There is no good outcome for Ukraine. The real reason why they want to train in Ukraine is the fear that the recruits will desert as soon as they get to Europe. A monstrous forced mobilization is taking place in Ukraine; in Poland or the Czech Republic it will be more difficult to hide.

  • @ДмитрийСвергин
    @ДмитрийСвергин 3 месяца назад +20

Willie lost the ability to keep track of the cards. The Ukrainian army captured several positions near Lipsi. The Russian army continues its offensive in the direction of Kupyansk, and there are successes on the Seversk Front. In reality, and not on frozen Ukrainian maps, the Russian army has reached the channel from both sides of Chasov Yar, and now there are battles for the capture of a bridgehead on the Ukrainian coast. In the area of Ugledar, the Russian army is fighting for the highway. This front is about to collapse. The destruction of fortified areas in Ugledar itself began. The gradual capture of the Urozhayny.
Why Ukraine does not have and will not be able to effectively use F16. Destroy air defense systems with long-range missiles? Most of these missiles are destroyed by air defense systems. To destroy the air defense systems themselves, not individual installations covering airfields and the like, but the entire system as a whole, Ukraine would need to launch hundreds of missiles simultaneously. Ukraine does not receive so many missiles from its allies. Ukraine does not have many planes to launch these missiles. And it only worked for a while, until backup installations were installed in place of the damaged ones. Russia uses less than a tenth of its air defense assets in Ukraine. But that's not all. Destroying air defenses would not solve the problem with Russian long-range systems that would destroy the F-16 even on the ground. That is, in addition to the supply of hundreds of attack missiles, dozens more air defense systems should be supplied. Since it will be impossible to hide such large-scale movements, nothing will prevent Russia from learning about what is happening. This means that Russia will simply strengthen the air defense group and conduct an operation using false targets to identify Ukrainian air defense systems and destroy them. Some ideas that Russia will surrender its territory should immediately be called unrealistic. If Russia suffers heavy losses somewhere, it will not mean that it will retreat. This would mean that her opponents would suffer proportional losses. And this applies not only to the APU. Because Ukrainians are not able to do anything meaningful. Why does the training take place in Ukraine? Because in other countries there are no conditions for forcibly detaining trainees and preparing them to be cannon fodder. Something they don't want to participate in.

@@bumble-g2j This is exactly the reason why they haven't started using F16 yet. You can only start using them once. And how this happens is very important. Leopards, Abrams and Bradleys had achievements in this war. But the inflated expectations, and the unsuccessful start of their use, turned this participation into an image disaster for them. The West sees that the F16 is following exactly the same path.

Along with that, the new goal is to create a buffer zone between Russia's "new regions" and Ukraine then freeze the front lines. Those are actually achievable goals mate. It's only people in the west that think Russia wants to take the whole Ukraine. That just shows the ignorance of people in the west. Science is, by design, unable to prove anything. The scientific method is about postulating a hypothesis, gathering observations, and checking whether the observations falsify the hypothesis. Therefore, only falsification is possible, and verification is not. Nobody can prove that gravity exists. We have a lot of experimental data that are consistent with gravity existing, and we don't have data that would falsify the hypothesis of gravity existing. Therefore, we can somewhat safely assume that gravity is a useful concept to us.

France isn't using their heads. What's wrong with training soldiers in Poland? It's like a days train ride to get them there. Doing this puts French troops, representing the French government in direct danger. Russians will know exactly who they are killing when they target French run training centers in Ukraine and that's a little different than blowing up a building which may or may not have officers providing advice present.
People are not smart but people can be clever though. No one else is doing this, I don't even think talking about this, France is kind of left alone. I wonder if France has an ulterior motive for this. There were some communications between French and Russian Generals a few months back and when the French were asked what was said they replied to the effect of "we told the Russians to go and **** themselves." France still has significant ties in Africa still despite taking a hit recently and Russia is becoming more active where the French have dropped the ball. I wonder what the possibilities are of backdoor deals between the French and the Russians may be. I wouldn't speculate on what exactly the Russians may get out of it, but I don't see French troops going unmolested by Russian strikes in Ukraine, proving a serious political issue, unless for some reason the Russians decide to just not hit these training centers

theres no longer any actual realpolitics happening, its like its no longer acceptable to take into account whats actually possible, whats cost effective and achievable.
thats why we have such polarised politics, when opposing parites call the other names and demonise them as criminals instead of talking with them, trying to convince them by arguments or counteroffers in order to achieve some compromise both sides can live with, thats why we have Zelensky demanding absolute victory at all costs and thinking reconquering few square meters of territory today is worth of crippling and outright killing whole generation of Ukrainian men and selling out and destroying chances for sustainable future of Ukrainian nation and state.

Mate, you are the Legend here and follow your content religiously every single day.
I have always commented online that F-16's will NEVER have any impact on this conflict whatsoever, and have always been ridiculed and abused from my comments.
This doesn't worry me in the slightest, but coming from an Australian Military family and knowing how things work in the greater scheme of things..... I would love to hear your opinions on how F-16'S have been promoted purely on the number of aircraft donated and the media hype over how many Pilots are being trained.
You yourself should definitely have the knowledge about the amount of logistics required to operate ANY Weapons System in the field of conflict.
My whole point has been that for EVERY single F-16 will require a minimum of 20 highly trained ground crew involving maintenance/mechanical/refueling/armaments/electronics etc etc support.
Not to mention the need for highly technical flight support systems on the ground to communicate with each Aircraft in support of flight systems, radar, targeting and extensive real time data communications for every single Aircraft in the air looking to achieve a coordinated mission!
My old man is ex Royal Australian Signals since the Vietnam years, and has taught me a LOT about the importance of ground to air communications in several different fields of military needs.
The final question about the effect of F-16'S in this conflict is about the availability of the actual munitions available from the Western world to be able to actually provide the necessary amounts of armaments required to keep these aircraft supplied with enough firepower to actually be able to use on whatever missions they might be assigned to achieve?
Would love to hear your thoughts and hopefully reinforce my opinions that F-16'S are definitely a complete waste of time and money on a system that cannot be fully armed or supported by the donors to the Ukraine, and will also be the most intensively focused target for Russia no matter where they might try and appear ANYWHERE in this conflict.

about Victory: nobody is really talking about what is needed for victory. what I (i could be wrong) learned is this war is that you meed 3:1 ratio as attacker. that means at the moment Uk need 1.5 million soldiers. And now calculate each type of weapon system needed. I would say at minimum of 2000 battle tanks, multiple thousand IFV, thousands of additional all sort of artillery, rifle, ammunition, fighter jets, personal security gear. Where does this shit come from? No EU countries placed significant big orders to their MIC. nothing is produced, where should the stuff come from, it will never come because ist not available in short term and not mid term. Everyone who talk Ukraine will win, closes their from reality. and what it takes to win is not really publicy discussed, cuz tax will start questioning who shall pay for all this. this is a topic our politicians like to avoid at all.

Russia have full radar coverage of Ukraine and neigbouring countries .F16 is not very good plane in this aspect not to mention that in board radar is already obsolete by modern standards and is in dissadvantage with planes such as Su35 and mig 31 add that F16 is slower and multi task plane is basicaly easy meal for buk3 ,s300, s400 and everything above mig 29 .
If i was Ukraine will ask for F15 and frontline bombers A10 .F16 is not able to be arm with shadow storm and scalp missiles...It's basically flying scrap metal.

Foreign pilots are trained at a different USAF facility. It’s impossible to fail. Much lower standards.

    American message to the Ukrainians:
"You do all of the dying - we can do all of the winning"
    ***
This is all we - Ukrainians need to know about this proxy NATO vs Russia war:
Усе, що ми, українці, повинні знати про наших західних "союзників":
“Being an enemy of America is dangerous, being a friend of America is fatal.” - Henry Kissinger (?)

    >>>I guess it was the 12th or 13th time to Kiev, and I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. I got a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against a state prosecutor, and they didn’t.
“So as they were walking out to the press conference, I said, nah, we aren’t going to give you the billion dollars. They said you have no authority, you are not the President. I said call him. I’m telling you, you are not getting the billion dollars.
“You are not getting the billion; I am leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you are not getting the money.
“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.>If you put aside the immense human suffering and look at Ukraine’s war through the cold lens of international power politics, a clear picture emerges: the West is having a good war against Russia.
All NATO has to do is send Kyiv munitions, equipment and money, which, as any general knows, is the c h e a p e s t way to wage war.
    (...)
The lives are being given by the Ukrainians. They’re defending their nation but also, inadvertently, helping decide the Cold War.
For 70 years, NATO deterred a Moscow attack westwards. The Russians eventually invaded, last February, what they assumed would be a conquerable target on their south-western border.
The war that NATO long prepared for is finally being fought.

It's Hilarious too how all this talk about WW2 fails to mention how it was Russia who broke Hitler's 6th army at Stalingrad, and thereby paved the way to the Liberation of Europe. And the Russians were the first into Berlin as well.
