- Is it possible to stealth camp when your ID Buzz is as beautiful as this? It’s time to take our Buzz on its maiden voyage as we head to London to celebrate Lyndsay’s Birthday at the stunning Lost Estate in West Kensington.
We enjoy an evening of fantastic entertainment, fine dining and perfectly paired wines. AND best of all, we find an incredible FREE stealth park up right outside the venue we are visiting.
Is the Buzz too small? Does it have enough battery? Can we really stealth camp in London? Tonight we show you exactly why we bought and converted this vehicle!

Your meal looked amazing and the show that i loved. Me and my beautiful misses might like it too.
The layout for two people seems to work pretty well. I hope it was comfortable to sleep in? I do not mind the fact the ID. Buzz is small as you have demostrated it's far easier to drive and park in the street than your main motorhome. I would enjoy having one this size for short breaks whilst using the facilities at the campsite for a few days stay. At the moment it may cost more but I'm sure in the future the price would be lower seeing has your channel has shown it is possible to turn the Buzz into a camper van and keep it within the prescribed weight limit. What happened to the turquoise decal on the VW badge, was this a design decision or was it taken off for other reasons? I quite liked it and if it was because the cutouts came off whilst driving, you could have the paint shop spray both badges the same colour as the rest of the camper van. look forward to more adventures with your ID. Very brave of you to take us along on your maiden trip. The Buzz .. well it is what it is .. micro! Swivel seats will improve space .. and you’ve proved it’s doable but let’s face it far from comfortable. All that food and drink .. and no loo!! Coffee and bacon rolls but no loo! Not having a mirror is the least of your problems! 😊. It will make a good day out van .. but really any estate would offer similar space for table and chairs and washing up bowl and 12v cool box. It’s been great to watch .. thank you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

What a fab birthday treat - looked fantastic and you got to stay in Buzz - how perfect!!! Its a great set up for an overnight or couple of days - another home on wheels and you couldn't have gotten any closer to the venue -you could have rolled home !!! Happy Belated Birthday - nice one!!!

I saw a buzz in Flamborough at the bank holiday it was parked with some older VW campervans i thought ohh is Steve and Lyndsey here, same colour as yours. i still say my best holiday with my parents is an old vw 1976 going down the East coast of Yorkshire, i was about 10, since then been abroad etc but when they passed it was my fav hol

I just discovered your Vlog and love it. I was especially delighted when you mentioned that you lived in Milton Keynes. I consider Milton Keynes my second home although I’ve lived there many many years ago when it was still part of Buckinghamshire. I lived in Stantonbury next to the school for the deaf. I was a social worker for Buckinghamshire County Council. I still have friends who live in Milton Keynes. Are used to come back every year, but since the pandemic, I haven’t been able to because of health issues. I also followed quite a few of the narrow boaters Vlogs and always get excited when they go to the Grand Union canal parts that go through Milton Keynes. I also get a good laugh when they think that Milton Keynes is just central Midland Keynes, and don’t realize that Bletchley and stony Stratford and Wolverton are all part of Milton Keynes. I would’ve loved to show you went to because that’s just up my alley. Happy birthday and I look forward to watching further adventures. Greetings from Pennsylvania.

To turn off the alarm when the doors are locked (and engine off) you just need to switch off ‘interior monitoring’ on the console screen 👍

Hi As regards locking the van when you are inside. In my California if i use the button on the driver's door to lock the van rather than the fob it doesn't set the alarm. Dunno if same in the Buzz?
A great way to spend your birthday doing something you like, belated happy birthday, make the most of still being forty something. Seeing how you were coping in the space on offer, my layman's opinion is that I could see this working for one person and a dog but more comfort would be for me. Like I said my opinion so nobody moan. ps where is the toilet?

Going out in crime capital London is bad enough but sleeping at the side of the street and having to go to the toilet in a bucket on your birthday is shocking.

Nice video. So why didn't the car doors lock from the inside?
They did lock, but that also set the alarm, and as soon as it detected us it went off. We just need to figure out how to lock it without the alarm being activated.
It’s the classic transporter motion detector that we all suffer with in night number one. If it’s the same in the buzz, there’s a switch on the b pillar on the drivers side. You usually have to open the driver door to deactivate it, then you can lock it.
What is the law wrt staying on public street in camper van? I just wondered after watching this. Curiosity. I am planning to get a camper van and interested to know. Anyone know?
Won't you get a double ULEZ charge if you stay over midnight?
All electric vehicles are exempt from ULEZ and Congestion Charges under the Cleaner Vehicle Discount.

Managing expectations. Can't understand peoplee thinking this was going to be more than a day / microcamper which it is. A lot of convertors wouldn't even try (including the company which did my T6.1.) Pricewise its around the same as my T6.1 which is the only downside for me. Happy travels
I’m glad you can see that we converted it to be exactly that. Mainly as a second car, but also as an occasional day van / camper, and it’s been perfect for that. And of course we still have our big van as our main campervan for our family road trips. I still can’t believe the amount of negativity about it being too small, the compact size of it is absolutely perfect and we love it.
My mate Dave got away with this caper for donkies by avin dyna rod on the side of his rig. Then the silly sod plastered it all over tinternet

No, we live in a house, and we have our 9m motorhome to go away on road trip holidays in, this is simply a 2nd car and occasional micro campervan, which is just perfect for us.
