Nice seats Wooster... George Steinbrenner used to own a home in my hometown of Culver Indiana for like decades... and south bend cubs season tickets just opened up yesterday as well.. what an exciting adventure .. thank you for sharing all that was included in that ticket price.. Go Rays
The free food had to be the ultimate test of will power. On your fit by 50 quest. I say this because It's so hard for me not to sample everything when it's included like that. That way I can say I tried it all, and I feel like I took full advantage of the perk being offered, because not taking full advantage of a perk, is like paying for a first class seat and then going to sit in the coach section of the plane. That's an impressive minor league facility and a very reasonably priced club experience. Great seat choice too!!!
Wow! That brought back some memories. From the mid 90s till about 2005ish I attended a trade show every year at the Tampa Convention Center. I would often visit the Yankees spring training. I sure didn't have those nice seats. Anyway, one year Steinbrenner kinda made a joking comment to a player about firing him for dropping a catch. I was only about 15 feet away from Steinbrenner on the 1st row. I busted out laughing. He turned around and winked at me before going back towards their dugout. I don't think that he knew that I was behind him. He wasn't being serious, but just so well fit the Steinbrenner stereotype.

I remember the vip section being in an enclosed space on the side where you walk thru & get your food - it was like a mini open-space all-you-can-eat 7-11. 🙂 This was fun.

ive had an experience like that at cleveland cavalier games. my dad and I would get those club seats as well and it came with the unlimited food and drinks ( besides beer) and they were awesome!
That was an incredible experience! The Yankees went all out for that 🏟 stadium! I guess they figued it was worth the investment in Florida, since there are so many NY transplants there! 😀 ⚾️ 🧢
You obviously don’t know how the spring training and minor league systems work in Florida. I wasn’t just the Yankees that are invested here, but half the teams in the majors. Also, Florida has been spring training headquarters for MLB for YEARS

I went to that stadium last year but didn't have access to the dugout club, but was fun nonetheless. I've also been to BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater which I also went to last year. My dad was saying to me "we should go see a game at the trop during the regular season since it is the last three years of that stadium being around", maybe I'll go see a rays game during the regular season since the rays are my third favorite team (yes, I have three favorite teams, my two others are of course the Phillies and the Mets (being a Phillies fan, I know a lot of people who like and are fans of the Mets, so I have to give respect to the Mets).
Hello from Gatlinburg Adam! What a nice Pahk there in Tampa ..When I lived in Winter Haven in the late 80s, Boston played in a 50 yr old highschool field 😂
Born and grew up in Tampa just a few blocks from the Stadium and the old Tampa Bay center mall. I use to ride my bike down and watch the team train there would be several of us kids and the couch would allow us to go in and watch and meet everyone Was great times Now live in Ft McCoy Fl Tampa will always be my home.
Adam, I got to sit behind home plate for a Rays game once. they have the same kinda thing food an drinks are included. and they have waiters that you can order stuff and they bring it to you. Plus the club up on the 4th floor has all kinds of food and deserts. Awesome
The bottom Seats at Tropicana kinda annoy me to be honest . I like this idea better where you get and go get your food instead of waitress constantly walking back and forth all game
We watched so many Braves spring training games at Disney ESPN, dreaming they would somehow play in Central Florida again. We loved hitting an afternoon game and then eating in a park at night.

Rays have 2 club seats like that.. one is the Home Plate Club which is those big padded comfy seats right behind home plate. A cheaper option is up on 1st base side just above Section 110 ... Both have buffets and bars and all sorts of cool stuff.

Adam .. nice video and seats .. the Yankees were my team growing up .. my Dad actually was in spring training as a catcher for the Dodgers when they were in Brooklyn. He would have made the team but got hit in the mouth with a fast ball .
I went to Spring Training Games, when the Braves were training at WWS at Disney, and I met some of the players, and their wives, and took photos of Derek Jeter. when the Yankees were there playing. Now the Braves left, I was sad to see them leave....Good Times!! back in 2008 2009, nothing like a Hot Dog 🌭at the stadiums.
