Nice seeing the positive energy emanating from this performance and Kyo being so interactive with the crowd. There are two sides of Diru that I love and one being the dark and gloomy and pained side of it which is psychotherapeutic for me and then there’s this side, full of positivity and charismatic interaction.
This time I had the clear impression Die and Kaoru were looking at each other like "...told you, right?? He says llllock'n'llloll!!" "yeah, right, he does!!" and that's what they're laughing about! Lol.
I had the impression that Kaoru n Die did not expect Shinya’s drums to drop out during that last bar. But it’s funnier to think that their expressions were about Kyo’s vocals...

У них все записаные концерты ахиренные-восхитительные но этот пока что мой любимый именно по настроению и незапарными относительно образами. Не это конечно круто когда группа париться изза внешнего вида краситься и прочее я это ценю и это круто именно благодаря их необычайным образам и енергетикой которые они создают я и начала их слушать именно клипы сначало привлекли моё внимание и чем больше смотрела тем больше мне нравилась их музыка но тут отсуствие этого всего делает ситуацию более душевной чтоли и это блять круто я раз третий наверное пересматриваю этот концерт ибо чувствуеться что группа кайфует от происходящего это не может не подкупать. Смотриться безумно легко даже удивительно легко. Возможно я слишком большое значение предаю этому всему но я под большим впечетлением

I’m impressed with the 4 instruments but quite disappointed how Kyo design his voice here. I think his voice can be more powerful and emotional. Anyway, love all DEG.
It must get exhausting for him, all of Dir En Grey's songs have such intense and diverse vocals. His vocal chords go through a war every night Kyo performs!
This show was filmed 3 months before Androgynous___if you want to mistake real singing for bad singing that's your decision [if people sing live their voices change during tours. There are always shows were his voice is rested and shows were it's already a bit strained - and a whole lot more where he doesn't give a damn because a song doesn't ask for perfect pitch but raw emotion. The entire Withering to Death. album calls for the latter and if you want him to sound perfect after doing that performance of Kodoku ni shisou, yue ni kodoku well then you better listen to the CD version. That being said I only noticed new techniques and an even better voice when I saw them live in 2020 [not to mention what he does on Phalaris and with Petit Brabancon at the moment because your comment was written before all that]

京さんはどうかはわからんが、マロウ時期からの曲ってわりとヘッドボイス音域が多いから
ヘッド使わないミドル音域の多いウィザの曲のほうが辛いって人もいるらしいよ。
実際ヘッドのほうが裏声成分多くて幾分か楽だし。
まぁだったらなんで鬼葬とかヴァルガは歌えてんだって話になるけどね笑

It's because he's tired, probably is not the first song, also he's moving a lot and cheering the audience, considering that, it sounds pretty good 💙
