I have heard his fingers are regaining strength so there is hope. Just hope someone would document the band at their prime or before something unfortunate happens.

I had the chance to see them live once and with sukekiyo twice. My first dir en grey live was so intense it took me a week to come down from the "high" lol oh and Kyo live, a couple of feet from you he is a LOUD, intense, powerful it's unreal the emotions aren't faked you get hypnotised and get goosebumps as soon as he starts singing.

2:44 3:07 後ろの映像に人が窓から眺めてる時に「人身事故」ってあったり、学校の机に「死ね」「キモイ」って書かれてたり、自殺した人があの世に向かう電車に乗ってる際に生前の記憶を振り返ってるような感じに見えてしまう。何だか泣ける
何もかもが嫌になった朝に現実からの逃避行だと思いながら海岸線の電車に乗って終点まで行った。その時にイヤホンでこの曲が流れていたのが忘れられない。
いつかの取材で京さんが「俺より感情込めて歌える人がいるなら見てみたい」って言ってたけど、未だに京さん以上の人は見当たりません

感情込めるだけならTOOLもライブの時に負けてはいないと思うが、歌詞の中の人物、世界に入り込んでなり切ると言うか、表現力で京以上は未だに見当たらない。凄すぎるｗ
感情込めるだけなら素人でもできると思うけど京程感情を出して表現できるアーティストはおらんと思う。
格好いいとか感動したとかなんか思い付く感情を全て汲み取れるよね。

何にも上手くいかず、絶望しているとき、京様の歌声に涙流して「もう少し生きよう」と思う、そんな素晴らしい曲でした。
心に深い痛みを受けた高校生の時にこの曲を聴いて、京くんの叫びにつられて泣きながらただ叫んだ瞬間から自分の中の何かが変わった気がする。
あれから10数年、良いのか悪いのかは分からないけど今もまだあの時叫んだことが忘れられないでいるし、心の中にノイズが残ってる。
