I heard this one for the first time on the radio today.. fell in love. Even had to pull over on the highway and just sit there and enjoy it.
Unbelievably beautiful piece of music. Dobrinka Tabakova is one of the most promising young composers. She has a very good feeling for melodies and emotion. I'm really looking forward for her next compositions.
One of the most beautiful composition in contemporary music.
It's the most heartbreaking peace I have heard in last years, especially in our "modern" classical music. How many sorrow are devoted to this, how many emotions and work. All the respect to Dobrinka!

Just heard this on bbc radio three, very beautiful, an new instant favourite of mine
Since first hearing this piece, I have listened to the concerto dozens of times. There is a level of skill and sophistication with harmony, with counterpoint, with challenging the musicians. I played chamber music for 15 years professionally in a quartet which included a cello but I never knew a cello could create such music. I wish I could sit and talk to the Tabakova for an hour because her musical instinct is so exquisite I have been in the hospital for 10 weeks now some nights this thing for three or four hours just to my collection of her music. Tabakova speaks to my soul.
I often listen to music, but it is rare that I feel music. I certainly did feel this song
An original & innovative composer who represents our time in the 21st. century. Beautiful, harmonius, deep.
I heard a piece of hers on CBC while driving. I was terrified that I would forget her name and like another commentator below, I repeated it again and again and have been exploring her works. Wonderful and deeply beautiful.
This music is like a Light spider net, spreading the tiniest silver strings around... I swear, I can feel the weaving of this composition so clear!
