Extension PROM 60 degree? Is the norm a bit too high? Although the degree of shoulder extension is less addressed in literature. According to “Chang LR, Anand P, Varacallo M. Anatomy, Shoulder and Upper Limb, Glenohumeral Joint. [Updated 2023 Aug 8]. In: StatPearls [Internet].“ Extension is defined as bringing the upper limb posterior in a sagittal plane and the normal range of motion is 45 to 60 degrees. Also in the video, the model’s range of extension looks like about 40-45 degree. I suppose that the lower limit of normal range of extension should be no more than 45 degree. Is it reasonable?
I'm sure the patient has not undergone any shoulder Surgery because you cannot move your hand so easily over head. I had recently got my surgery for the slap tear and bankart repair it took me almost 5 weeks to achieve 150° overhead and 10° external rotation with the help of physiotherapy I just want to know how easily you can move the patient hand overhead and abduction please tell me as I mentioned I have undergone the surgery and I just want to know
For internal rotation of wrist what would be better body position for a women client ... I would not want to put whole arm on her chest as a massage therapist
Great Video, I hope to one day be at the level that you are at now !!!
So brilliant physiotherapist because he has conducted several useful exercises for the shoulder.السلام عليكم

How would you modify the ER PROM stabilization position for a female, without sacrificing too much stabilization?
We know that this may be difficult to perform on a female patient but what you could do is place a cushion between your arm and the patients chest
Excellent idea
For internal rotation of wrist what would be better body position for a women client ... I would not want to put whole arm on her chest as a massage therapist
Thanks guys idk how can i thanks more ! ❤️ هاي بنات ثاني 🙋♀️ 😂
I’m looking for a qualified physical therapist < can we meet ?
What does it mean if you have pain bringing your arm back down to neutral?
Impossible to say. We'd suggest you to get in touch with a local physio or contact our partner yourphysio.online
Great job guys!
Maybe you can make videos with full body stretch divided to sections like UE/LE/Spine etc. :)
Thank u for this video. Pls can u do video on McConnell test for chondromalacia patella. Thanks in advance.

Do we not do PROM of adduction in neutral?
Never limited in the zero position, but rather in 90 degrees of flexion like in the stenvers tests or ac joint tests
@@Physiotutors thank you guys!
My forward flexion was 9 degrees 😅
