I put the lenses on and later I took them off, I didn't heat them with a hair dryer before I took them off, could something have happened to the factory glass from the camera
Would you know if to remove the Samsung A54 lens ring is the same process? I damaged one :(

I also highly advise people to put a cloth on top of the camera to better dissipate the heat and avoid any sort of damage, instead of directly to the device.

@@elliematthew8051 I mean, the cloth will become hot once you start to use the hair dryer, so I suppose it's technically a hot cloth lol.

Great video and advice! I’m curious one of the protected lens cap shatter and when I remove it it left adhesive residue around the rim of the lens. Any advice to wiping that sticky adhesive residue off without damaging the phone?

I have an important question, when removing the protectors, can it damage the metal around the camera? Does it scratch it in some way, given that it's metal on metal? I'm referring to the metal ring on the lens where the protector fits!
Just removed mine, the actual camera looks the exact same as it was before I put the protectors on. The only thing I had to do was clean up some of the glue with a cloth, but other than that it was perfect.

Definitely won’t be using this kind anymore. Way too much of a pain in the ass to take off.
also helps alot, if your phone drops and breaks camera lens. This is not bad to keep on.
@@AjOman7 if you’re careful with your phone, it’s unlikely for you to drop it. I always use wrist strap to keep my phone from dropping.
Hence, camera lenses protectors adds flare-like light when a light hits your camera. I bought one of these, and never used it. It can also leave scratching on the edges of the camera when removed.

Urgh I should’ve looked on RUclips as soon as I realised mine was stuck! I tried soaking with rubbing alcohol, I cut my finger, scratched the phone and still only managed to remove 3/4 🙈. I’ll try the hairdryer tomo for the remaining part. I’m too tired now lol.

This hasn’t worked for me I can’t get mine off. Tried heating multiple times and they just won’t budge.
What to do if the ring went off but the glass remained on the lens? So the glass has disconnected from the ring and didn't get removed with it and now I don't know how to remove it without damagin lenses

I removed them and put them back three times and nothing bad happened to the phone, and every time I put them back I just heated them a little from afar with a hairdryer at low heat, but it reduces the quality of the camera, so keep them for a while and get rid of them after that.

Mine cracked so I’ve already gotten cut up by it. Didn’t know it was made of glass 😐 AND it is the entire square and not only just the circles. Will the heat method work to remove the thin WHOLE square of glass that’s on mine? @technomentary
