"There was silence." The work was so ahead of its time I think people were either stunned or had to catch up. I still pull those books out and have the same elation I did the first time I read them. Timeless.
Wonderful video! I always enjoying watching and listening to Sienkiewicz's reflections on his incredible career, as well as his insights into his artistry!
These videos are fantastic ! I could listen to Bill talk all day. I grew up watching a documentary called "From Superman to Spider-Man" on repeat, and Bill was interviewed in it, so these feel quite nostalgic somehow 💚 Such a fascinating guy
Love these longer videos, they give a bit more context than the much shorter ones. Would be amazing to see a few more clips of you working on some pieces 🤞🏻
Masterpieces, incredibly beautiful images... the style is incredible, cool as fuck, from Kacowicz to Sienkiewicz congratulations on the mastery, master artist!
The images depicted in this video are fine art. Due to the fact that its more adult like and very intense images depicted by a wonderful artist, the audience was likely children or child like as far as their mental state is concerned. I believe it will be very appreciated by many once they are mature enough to realized whats been done. I appreciate it now, but I probably would not have as an adolescent.
Bill Sienkiewicz is THE BEST!
Goatest GOAT!!!
Even these years later, “Elektra: Assassin” still looks fresh, raw in intensity and an utter Masterpiece! Truly proof of Sienkiewicz’s Genius!😎🤩🎨✍🏽

Impresionante, maravillosas e impactantes paginas dibujadas por el maestro😮❤😊
You blew MY mind, Bill.
You inspire me all the time Bill. Everyday.
Love your work 5ever.

It was a pleasure meeting you at NYCC Bill. Thanksgiving for signing the venom and continuing to inspire my work.
Those books changed me and the way I saw comic books, instilled a yearning for that intensity that still follows me to this day.
Yes, definitely fine art. Also the “Rubber Soul” and “Revolver” comparison was spot on.
Absolutely loving these videos. You're a legend. I use you for inspiration all the time.
Same.
I'm a self-proclaimed art snob and artist. Your work is fierce❣️❤️🔥🙏🏼😍

I d'no what qualifies as fine art, but I do know Bill's work has a light hearted darkness to it that touches the soul.

There's still nothing else like this in comics or modern art. Amazing
Elektra Assassin is my favorite comic. It is so beautiful, so bizarre. There’s nothing like it! Go BS!😘
Your work is absolutely fine art to me . Steve ditto , FM , and few more -

a question, which I have because the project
Big Numbers with Alan Moore didn't go ahead?
Man, to work in a studio with Stan Drake and Leonard Starr and learn from them...
Why has Elektra Assassin never had the Absolute treatment?
