My friend had one of those Asking Alexandria lyric shirts a decade ago, and it was so damn embarrassing when he'd wear it. And it only gets more and more disgusting that everyone thought it was cool as I get older. Mainly because you remember who exactly wore the shirts and wonder how the fuck parents were cool with them wearing it.

I don't understand why Finn was so offended by the Rammstein sex toys. Germany is a pretty notoriously kinky society and Rammstein is one of those rare metal bands with a relatively high proportion of women in the fanbase. Also they have definitely pandered to gay dudes in the past so that's one of the target demographics. edit: and additionally, at least in my opinion, those are obviously kinda tongue in cheek

Cool Bret Michaels story told to me. My friend was a manager at a local bar. I want to the Rock of Love tour bus stopped in. It was similar to the Girls Gone Wild tour bus situation as I recall. Manager goes back stage and to his surprise, Bret’s hair is sitting on a dummy. With the bandana. Finn, as well as myself, we are familiar with hair loss. I get dudes with wigs. But to have the wig WITH the bandana sitting there shook my buddy. It was a sight to see and I only wish a photo of this existed.

Can we talk about how shitty and inefficient merch stands are? Was at WWWYFest in Vegas last weekend and, its a 1 hour line for band merch. While you're in line, you can't see the merch, can't see what's in stock, can't see where your favorite band's stuff is.... Why not put a QR code in line and have a "store" in your browser to check the merch out before we get to the front of the line? They would sell more merch, sell more food/drinks, and we wait in line for less time, isn't this a win/win?
