Nice. But 1 thing I like to add,at starting as U said about mobile, , as much as I know, the mobe perform the light on /off activity buy using its front camera not any IR scensor.

If phone camera always use to detect on/off /light there might be a security issue...
So bro please do some research about it..
The ir sensor used in our mobile phone.
If you see the upper section of your mobile phone you can find the ir sensor.
