You have a higher power watching and protecting you. In the flesh you may be alone, but you are not. This is a very inspirational video in all aspects. If we all rely on our circumstances to dictate how we choose to live, and dwell on what ifs, we stagnate and don’t take that leap of faith, and we set ourselves to fail. You persevere and you overcome. But not just that, you inspire us to do the same. It is not about all the specific places you travel, is the passion and joy that it gives you to do what you love doing the most. Not just that, but you bring us along with you because you are selfless and giving… when my husband and I visit Iceland, we will bring you with us in thought. And the impact your videos and words of encouragement, guidance, concern for our well being, we will never forget… I have decided that God willing any travels aside Iceland, it will be your videos we will look at for the best vacations we could have… This was the last video of Iceland. But not the last I will watch. Thank you so much. God bless

It's so valuable what you do and all information you gave. The only thing I miss is the month your traveling and day on the first slide of the film. That would give me Idea about the weather and if the attraction is even available at the time I'll be in Iceland as the beginning of May is different than end of May.
But your doing really great job, I can see it's from your heat 😊
    Happy hiking 🥾🥾

Thank you for the kind comment and feedback. This video was filmed in mid-August at the end of my Iceland trip. I think I mentioned the month in some of my Iceland videos. I was there from late July to mid-August 2021 just right after the pandemic restrictions ended. I think the best season to visit Iceland is anytime from late June to early August as the weather is so nice with long day hours and all attractions are open including the remote areas in the WestFjords region and Thórsmörk. In early May, some attractions might not be open yet, and driving in some regions in that month might be a little bit rough. Enjoy your trip!

@@WandererBell we had already tickets for beginning of May. Yes I know we won't be able to see some places due to the weather conditions, unfortunately we can't change the date. But we will enjoy anyway 😀🥾🥾

Someone on Reddit recommends your video. We will be visiting Iceland for the first time in October. Your video gave me an idea of what to expect on Route C. We will certainly rent trekking poles at Reykjavik for the hike. Seems like more lava action is at route B since Saturday.... Just wonder how difficult it is compare to Route C...anyways thanks for the recording.

Route B is very steep. It is longer and more difficult than route C. Route C might be a good option if you want to reach the lava field area in the valley where you can get a good photo opportunity. From the lava field area, you have the option to continue the difficult part of the hike on route C to get all the way up to get a view over the crater opening. Enjoy your trip. You will love Iceland!

It is wise not to get too close to the volcano fumes. There might be to much co2 and sulphuric acid. So you might lack oxygen

I got sick that night after I did that hike. I guess I got close to the volcano fumes.

I know how debilitating migrane can be. I also had migrane as a teenager. The dentist tried to straighten my teeth. But had to stop because of the migrane

I think the migraine impacted my speech at the time, but I got much better now.

Thank you for watching. I used Route C to hike to reach the lava fields in the Nátthagi valley. From Nátthagi, I continued on a more difficult hike up to Langihryggur where I got a view over the crater opening. The entire hike took me about 5 hours round trip. The official site has maps of the hiking trails. safetravel.is/eruption-in-reykjanes
