A pattern I love is the Scrap Crochet Basket by My Poppet Makes - just a simple crochet basket made by holding 4/5 strands of yarn together at once. It eats yarn like anything so it's been good for random acrylic yarn that I wouldn't use for anything else. And then they're good for yarn storage once they're done! The other pattern I've enjoyed is Inner Beast by Sharon Maher - it's a little monster soft toy, designed for using up tiny scraps/yarn ends. You tie all your scraps together to make a magic ball, which was equally as fun as making the toy!
Hi Lisa, you and Bethany are my two favorite knit and crochet channels. Today I'm working on something crochet, that is so much fun. I'm using my scrap yarn. It's granny squares. I'm not sure yet if I will make pillows for my sofa, or just keep going for a lap blanket. 🤔 Awesome video. Thanks 😊❤️🌸
what a great idea, to use all the lill leftover scraps as stuffing for Amigurumi.. 😌💖 I have saved all the tiny ends of my yarns, just cause I thought, mby I will find a use for them, as I don't like to waste any materials I am working with.. 🌱 And I hope to learn how to crochet da Bumble Bee. 🐝😏
Great video Lisa such cute projects mentioned! I really want to learn how to knit socks but they scare me ahah 😂 I loved theknitedit’s Saturn jumper for scrap yarn or any of her patterns 🪐
Thank you! And yes, sock knitting definitely seems very intimidating at first, but trust me, it's a lot of fun! Oohh I'll check out that pattern, it sounds so great 💖
I would loove to make children's clothes but unfortunately I don't know that many people with kids haha. Such a smart way to get rid of some scrap yarn though!
do u have any reccomendations for where to buy cheap sock yarn in the netherlands? i am on a very tight budget but i really really wanna make some cool socks. hope u can help, thank u in advance! :)
I would say Drops Nord and Drops Fabel are quite affordable, and my other tip is thrift stores! You can often find a lot of sock yarn at the thrift shop.
The vest you are wearing in this video is lovely! Your suggestions have inspired me to try intarsia, thank you for sharing ideas!
Thank you so much 💖
My go-to scrap yarn project is scrunchies! Super fast knit and customisable so I can make a lot of them hahaha
So smart! I really want to make some scrunchies soon

Hey, I loved the video. I have a bunch of crochet projects now. II'd like to know what your knit podcast is called.
Do you have the pattern for the vest you are wearing? I'd love to make it for some gifts...
I think a great way to use even small amounts of scrap yarn is embroidery. 😊
i'm planning to use my scrap acrylic to make a crocheted bouquet!!
Ahh so cool! I actually completely forgot to mention this one because I also finished a crocheted bouquet a couple weeks ago and I loved it
Laura Dalgaard's stuff is so pretty ?? Thank you for sharing!
Yes I know right, her designs are soo gorgeouss
Another suggestion would be to make children's clothes, or maybe even dog clothes!

I have a comment you can use scrap you're an also to make doggy Coats as well
Such a smart idea! My dog is very big tho haha so I don't think making clothes for him would be that great of a scrap yarn project haha
It’s pronounced “skay-ns”, not “skeens”.
