Which do you prefer: a pen-and-paper to do list, or a digital app to organize tasks? Either way, hope you LOVE these tips. They've been game-changers for me and I know they'll make a huge difference for you, too. Any other to do list organization tips that I missed? Share below!
Here's a separate video where I give a lot more detail on my personal planning/to-do list organization & prioritization process :) ruclips.net/video/3TP9-vOBRio/видео.html
@@HowToGYST right?!?! What did people ever do before that? And I’ve found that setting deadlines for things that don’t have one ensures I get to the important things I otherwise might not. Have a great day!
It's been awesome! I get a strange sense of satisfaction from saying no to these things...and then the empowerment builds as they accumulate because I can easily see how much time I would have "lost" if I'd said yes. Try it for sure!
Awesome! I'm so glad you got new ideas. These things have been tremendously helpful for me when it comes to planning and productivity. Have a great day!
Such a good question. My ultimate punchline would be that it's totally personal preference. The digital apps are hand because you theoretically have them with you all the time, and for perfectionists like me it can be nice to erase & retype things you "mess up" on. But ultimately, I haven't found an app that allows me to organize everything the way I've found is most productive for me. There's also all this research showing that writing something by hand better cements it into your brain, plus the dopamine hit of physically highlighting or crossing off something I've done is waaaaaay bigger than just indicating that it's done on an app. So that's why I'm personally a big fan of paper to-do lists. Old fashioned, I guess. ;) Which do you prefer?
Your tips are great but the music you chose for this video was so loud and distracting it was hard to watch this or focus on what you were saying. The music is completely unnecessary.
Thanks, Bonnie! I wholeheartedly agree. I regret trying to incorporate music in my older videos and stopped doing that a couple years ago. :) Glad the tips were still helpful.
That can happen for sure! The more specific you can get when making your categories, the better but sometimes if you don't have too many things in a category it's better lumped in with other ones. That's where a "miscellaneous" category has been helpful for me, and I always try to set deadlines for things even if they don't have one. Have a great day!

This is a great video! Love 'soft' deadlines.

@@SolutionsforSimplicity I set reminders on my phone for EVERYTHING. 😂

@@SolutionsforSimplicity Oh yeah, I definitely work best to a deadline, even if it's self-imposed. 😉
I’ve never thought about #9...what a great idea! I’m going to try it!

it's so easy for that to happen as a busy mom!
Thank you so much I Needed this 😊
Awesome! Glad you found these tips helpful!
Also, what do you think are the pros of using a paper to do list instead of an app?

I don't like a miscellaneous category. Stuff gets lost in there.

I was wondering if this was published in 2013 or what😂😂 I follow dd/mm/yyyy
Haha, no...it's from 2020 using the mm/dd/yyyy format. Hope you got some good tips from watching it! :)
Your face is too long 😅
Your comment is too rude.
