Thanks Lea. Outlook user here, like you. Do you thinks it would be sensible to switch from MS to do to todoist?

Hi, good question. Eventually, I believe it comes down to your personal preferences and way of working. If you are working with Microsoft tools only, you might want to stick with MS To Do because it nicely integrates within the whole ecosystem. However, if you are missing a feature with To Do or are not necessarily bound to the MS suite, feel free to check out Todoist. I use both, Todoist for personal and To Do for professional use (but also because I want and like to try out different tools to be able to comment on them) :) All the best, Lea

    Hi Lea,
Very usefull video again. In another video I told you that I check my mail and teams in timeslots in a day. But on point 4 I still have a problem with distractions. I do communicate to collegues when I do not want to be disturbed, however the collegue where I have to work with the most, because she and I are responsible for student who are out on internships, does not respect these requests. It is not because she tries to be anoying, but she is just a person who is very active, talkative etc. She just forgets. I tried to give her timeslots during the day, where she and only she can walk in, but that did not help. As she needs information she just walks in. Often I discover she send me a message or mail about 10 minutes before she comes in. Probably she then gets nervous because I do not react, although she knows that I have moments during the day I check my messages. What is your advice how to deal with her? Because to be honest I am at a loss. Luckely I am somebody who can dive in to focus very easy, but it would be nice if I can find a modus with her. Maybe you have a tip? Grtz, Patrick

Hi Patrick, thanks for sharing this challenge! I believe it would be best to again talk to your colleague and explain her WHY you are not responding to her messages or WHY you would like her to collect and wait to approach you with her questions. Not sure if you did that already, but maybe it helps her to understand your reasoning behind your request. Maybe you can agree with her that if something is super urgent, she can still directly approach you, but this should really only be emergencies. All other things to be discussed in separate sessions. Hope this helps! Feel free to let me know how the conversation went :) All the best, Lea

@@LeaDavid Hi Lea, here I am again. My collegue appologized. She did not realise that it was so disturbing. And forgot the whole arangement. I must say, I have to be more forthcomming with things what bother me. That is my weak point. Thanks for the coaching. Kind regards, Patrick
