Your stache is really filling out, looks good dude. Hype about these definitive guides, fantastic content concept; there are enough shorts out there to give people a quick fitness dopamine fix, people who care will take the time to listen and learn
This is of course amazing. just to be annoying, when belt use is discussed "Begs the question" means something else than you want it to, I think you want to say is "raises the question ". Thanks guys for the best quality content and production out there
One thing I'd like to add regarding the rings on the bar, is looking out for olympic weightlifting bars. Atleast here it Sweden it's very common for bars in commercial gyms to have weightlifting bars compared to powerlifting bars, meaning the marking is often wrong for powerlifting. Quick tip: For me, pinky on the weightlifting marking is more or less the same as index finger on the powerlifting marking.
One thing I like to say to people in commercial gyms for handout is "Don't worry about the fact that it's 140kg and more than you can lift out, I only need you to take 20-40kg of it, as I can lift out 100kg myself easily". That usually helps with them trying to yank it out completely
Just stumbled on this by my youtube feed, very eloquent and clear, really great tips, I love it and subscribed your channel, Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing your knowledge with us
Best powerlifting educational out there imo. Hoping you dive into arm length/hand position on part 2 for orangutans like myself and queues on lat activation.
Elbow sleeves are an option not mentioned to increase comfort. I've not used them but can't speak highly enough of knee sleeves, and have a fairly weak bench (110kg)
Mostly because they're thinner and meant to be "whippy" which means they'll bend and wobble with a minimal amount of weight on them. People also don't like when the deadlift bars are used in racks/benches because it wears down the knurling faster!
We will be talking about the new rules in our upcoming videos, and hopefully there will be a bit more clarity. I'm not convinced that there will be much for a while, and these videos have been long enough in the making! Haha
I hope this helps me to overcome bench poverty
With bench as my weakest lift that video helps a lot. Thanks for clearing up those little details!
Wow, this video was amazing! From the content, to the video quality, editing, etc. Top notch Bryce and Dillon!
Glad you enjoyed it!

I love the quality of these videos.
Been benching about 8 years and just started to use an arch and a slightly wider grip and my pressing has definitely improved @ 67 years old

Loved the video. A suggestion for a future video is how to spot correctly on all of the lifts. Thanks for the informative videos.
That's the plan!

I do believe the deadlift bars are noticeable narrower in diameter for gripping.
