Also they were on a variety show with Dreamcatcher and it was funny and that helped me really appreciate them a lot more.

Sadly a lot of those are ad buys by their company and not legitimate views. As in the video will play as an advert when people watch other videos (having no choice in the matter) and that counts towards their view count.
The counter is that late last year, RUclips implemented a rule that ad views won't count towards view count in the first 24 hours after release of a video. This is why bts and bps 1st day records are pretty much unbreakable now. Everglow got 15.1 mil view in the first 24 hours this time, which shockingly beat twice feel special for that period. The real problem is view count is international fan based, and unless the company gives them international tours, intrrnational fans don't provide much revenue.

@@CottidaeSEA I think Red Velvet flopped when they did it with Zimalabim repetitive chorus. Hence why they change back to full chorus with Umpah Umpah and Psycho which are far more successful than Zimzalabim.

I guess the instrumental may not be attractive and all over the place too, but did anyone complain about that?
