Indian government should prioritise getting the great talent from the US back to India and make living conditions livable for NRI community and give them the best opportunity so that they can build the biggest companies and the biggest employers here in their homeland and they do not have to be at the mercy of the white supremacist in the United States. this means investing in healthcare, good air, quality, great lifestyle, arts, and culture and a free and open society which welcomes experts from all over the world in (not only Indians ) that is the only way to become a superpower.
Somehow I find this really hard. I k a lot of NRIs in Chandigarh 2yrs ago a lot wanted to come back and now I see that the same feeling has vanished I mean it's unbelievable but now even more people who are in higher middle class stage are just wanting to leave. I dk maybe when I will have that amount of money I will know but for now it's kinda heart breaking.
True I gave it a shot and trust me I am happy..I didn’t loose but I was tired to hire and train employees - realized I don’t have the patience for it. But really taught me many things. Costs time and money but it’s definitely worth it!
are you kidding? he did his PhD from UC Berkeley, which is the best place on earth to do AI research. moreover, he came up with perplexity through his PhD.
Perplexity shows the way from answers to actions - from just getting information to actually getting things done. When AI becomes your personal assistant that understands you, filters ads for you, and performs tasks on your behalf, that's when we've reached the next level. That's exactly where Perplexity is heading. I hope:)
Perplexity pro, after using its 6 right and 4 wrong out of 10, where I asked for a current problem. Of course the CEO always boosts himself about his product. My advice to him, Is just say we are here to do business, not contributing to the society 😂
If perplexity people are reading this...your marketing strategies will be your downfall. Arvind doing media tours and being on podcasts is cringy, and overall harms the company. He's a good guy and probably a good ai dev, but he's the opposite of charismatic. Also, the strategy to send emails to people trying to position perplexity as a .... shopping assistant? It feels like borderline spam and makes the whole effort feel tacky and cheap. Sorry.
Aravind Srinivas said Indians can manage not create. I guess we should talk to his "source" 😉 Mr. Srinivas, (im talking to Aravinds dad) I have studied in top universities here and been in usa since 2011. I have seen immense creativity in Indians here. I hope you manage to inspire Aravind some day too, to become creative. ❤🎉
Fakeu accent… these kids should be sent to Zarna and they will fix their accent.. aravind you don’t know how to handle success and that will show its true colors one day!

they r already giving enough to the country by being NRI
None wants to come back to socialist republic of India
India has a federal structure. The central government can't do anything dramatic. Everything is very scattered and chaotic. Progress will be slow.
He's responding so honestly and clearly
Interesting
