I dislike narrow entryways like that.
I like the home I would prefer the staircase to swing towards the family room if we're talking about the Characters tree and the entrance to the master bedroom could be on the other side of the fireplace. Just my thoughts.

Love the layout - we just moved from New Jersey to Plano. Is there a possibility for building a detached in-law suite?
That house here in the Seattle area would easily cost $1.6 million 😩
At this price point it's so odd to me that the primary shower is so small and was constructed without any niches to put shampoo, body wash, etc!
The square post hits you as soon as you walk in. Not a good place for the pole.
