I love the food in Tucson, especially the Mexican food. Tired a different restaurant each day of our visit and the food was amazing. I also tired a Sonoran Hot Dog, and yes it is delicious even though the ingredients don't seem like they should go together lol. My husband, two kids, and I took a road trip through Arizona for a week last Thanksgiving and stopped at different Mexican restaurants throughout our trip, everywhere we went the food was amazing. The state is also absolutely beautiful and Tucson is one of my favorite cities that I've been to.
I vacationed in Tucson back in May. Every meal was fantastic. For tacos, I discovered Taqueria La Esquina. They serve 4 sauces/salsas and the bright orange one is very spicy and amazing! The bun on the Sonoran dog was the freshest bread I've ever had.
Im Mexican and I have lived in Tucson for more or less 5 years and I love it! especially since I don't miss the food that much since there are excellent options here. the places you mention in the video are exactly my favorites. If you dare to try the tripe tacos and pastor tacos, I recommend a place in Nogales Arizona in case one day you turn around there, it's called "TACOS RANAS" omg the best tacos you can eat in this area. congratulations for your channel I like it a lot, I'm a new subscriber 😊❤
I love your videos. I’ve lived in Tucson 2 different eras of my life and will be moving back in a couple weeks for the third time. Not looking for real estate guidance as I’m looking for a studio apartment. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for your videos
@@TucsonArizona Another word is ,,Flautas.'' [Flutes] which also makes sense. Whatever they call them, I love to eat them. The practice was to dip them in different salsas. Guacamole being my favorite.
Good recommendations. I highly recommend Taqueria Pico De Galló on South 6th simply because they make their own corn tortillas. Real Mexican tacos are made with corn tortillas in my opinion. You’ll rarely find flour tacos in the Mexican republic. 🌮 ❤
I would be very interested in vegetarian options in Tucson (restaurants and specialty grocery stores, if any). I'll be there to scope out Tucson (hopefully to move there) over the long Labor Day weekend, and I'm starting to plan what areas I want to to check out.
