Got one of these restart batteries for a Beta 200rr and it will NOT turn the bike over. Brand new never used battery. All it does is click the converter. I did use another battery that did turn the bike over. On a Tusk lithium charger the battery reads 14v+ on the ion-fe setting. Very frustrating.
I plan to use a lithium battery for club level motorcycle road racing to only power my transistorised ignition in a total loss system (no starting system) on a four cylinder 1000cc engine. Running times would be 20-30 mins maximum. What is the nominal voltage of a small case battery? And what is the minimum voltage the battery can be drained down to before suffering any damage? Finally, what capacity size battery do you recommend?
I'm looking at hte AG1601 for my 88ci Vtwin. My bike has an upgraded cam and performs more like a 96ci. As far as parasitic drains, I have a USB phone charger connected that only charges when the bike is running and some LED lights that are on a switch that I manually turn on/off only when riding at night. My main reason for choosing the small case is I need more room in the battery box for a Custom Dynamics Triple Play module to manage my brake lights and act as a load balancer for my LED headlights/driving lights/turn signals/brake light. I have no stereo or anything else that could cause a parasitic drain. Based on my situation and with these couple of additions, would I be okay with the AG1601?
I need a smaller battery on my Sportster 1200. The restart batteries are too big. They're every bit as big as the lead batteries.

Do I use my standard LIPO Battery charger on the AG-401? Do I select 4S? No balance port connection obviously.

Sorry if I missed it. But revzilla mentioned these Wouldn’t be so great in cold weather? True? I’m guessing a restart oem size would be fine no?
Do you do one for the Honda Fireblade 2021
can you use the ag801 battery on the pantera honda cr500 24 volt gen2 electric starter kit
Sorry, we have no experiance in trying that. We would have to see the system you are talking about. YOu can reach us at info@antigravitybatteries.com
I hate that the restart batteries are the same size as normal lead acids. Seems like a waste of space.
The “restart” feature doesn’t work… at all….
Isn't it dangerous to rest your arms on top of the terminals like that?
Not at all being this is only 12v... at higher voltage about 24v you should not do this... but 12v and there is not harm
1201 is 12v or 13v?
13.2 volts nominal/resting voltage.
Talk so much, but don't give me info on how to purchase
