There I was, resigned to a boring Sunday night in front of the telly... when Dale came to the rescue with this somewhat unusual video! Okay, so there's a few minutes of the video that plays backwards... but I suspect that may have been done to check if 'us lot' are paying proper attention! 😄

Absolutely epic video Dale the five minutes or so when you channelled the "Swedish Chef" or was it the late great Stanley Unwin (Starting around 21:44 to 27:00) had me rolling with laughter. You were not joking when you said you would be reversing at Ruislip Sidings. 🤣👌Good on, ya mate. 👍.

The last part of the video playing in what seems like reverse, makes it sound like you're speaking in some version of Germanic language. It's actually quite funny 😂 Don't cut it, leave it in - if someone is having a bad day, listen to the end bit of Dale speaking in reverse.

perhaps it is just my brain , but the angle of the camera feels a little different today. Perhaps it is the light but it feels higher and more forward facing. At the stops you can see in the mirror down the platform. Overall a great ride. I love the ambient sound aspect of your videos, so light or dark they always please
Have a great time in New York! The leaves are in full color here in eastern Tennessee, so they've probably already fallen in New York, but you might be able to see a few still on the trees when you get there.

At the begining, with the sunset view, I was wondering if you ever get to see a sunrise in your shift pattern. After the backwards bit I now feel like dancing naked in a churchyard and sacrificing a virgin. Just as well I'm wheelchair dependant so can't.

Dale, you don't necessarily need the original footage, all you need is to go into your video editor, cut out the bit that's in reverse and simply get it to play that bit in reverse. I just tried it myself and I'm no video editor so it's a bit rough around the edges but everything's there and it works great. I'd offer to send it to you but transferring video files is such a pain it's probably easier for you to do it yourself. No doubt someone will be along with a full list of instructions but you can definitely sort this little glitch out

When I lived in Ruislip there were never any terminations at Ruislip - in fact it wasn't even on the blind.
Dale hi . Are you coming to NY the week of oct 27-NOV 2nd or the following week ? The reason I ask is the trees are changing color now and if you are into this or not you could take a Amtrack train up to New England to see the foliage. It is just a suggestion. Take care.
