I was thinking of making a do not service list website. So all the companies would submit do not service clients, and then it would be ranked. It could also be used as an active database for newer companies who are getting clients they never worked before.
I think that is a good idea. I support it! Something with a search function for state/province and zip code or some sort of location. Kind of like an Angie’s list but just for other event professionals?
All money ain't good money is my motto. I had to learn to say no. My customer base is mostly last minute people or people in a jam. Then I started dealing with event planners and those jokers act entitled. I hard to turn a few of them away because of their attitude. Most of them bring me lots of business, but your attitude will end our business relationship quick.
@@thetentguy because someone blew up their head and it gave them a huge ego. So many of them are actually have low self esteem and try to hide it with their I am better than you attitude. I let them know in my actions, that they need me more than I need them. It knocks them down a peg or 2. Lol!
I won't speak for The Tent Guy, but it is not true that everyone is problematic or will eventually be problematic. Most customers are actually really decent and good to work with, they respect your time and service and the transactions are true win-wins. The bad apples, however, will always cost you more than they make you and it's wise to not rent to them.
Thanks for sharing. My saying if it's more headache then it's worth .... it's not WORTH IT. GOD BLESS.

Quick question what does it mean to mark a field? Is it just marks of possible gas lines, sprinklers etc?
Yes. Utilities come and spray paint the stuff to avoid.

I don’t understand event planners. Why do they suck so much!

i hate drunk customers sometimes
Locked gates on driveways when they know your coming grinds my gears!
Omg or no one at the venue to let you in or there to tell you where to set up and the customer not answering their phone. Smh
I change their contact INFO to " **DO NOT ANSWER** ",
Everyone will be on your do not call list eventually, why not just charge extra for the pain in the ass customers?
