Sorry for the late upload today. I lost power last night and had to finish the video this morning. I would have been done before yesterday, but I've been juggling a lot of big projects (this being one of them). Can't wait to show you what else I have in the works. Hope everyone has a great day/weekend! Also let me know what I should do with Samson's old 40 gallon once we move him to this one. Planted tank, paludarim, vivarium? You tell me!
Just awesome, Tanner! This inspires me for when I decide to own an African Bullfrog one day. I love the Universal Rock and may order from them soon. :)
Hey Tanner; so, I got my Pixie frogs shortly after your first build for them, and it was what introduced me to your channel. Well, we just bought a house and their tank cracked in the move. Lo-and-behold; the timing was perfect as you had recently done your update! Finally starting our build now that the rest of the immediate house is unboxed. Will be referencing your water features videos for our own pond once we get through this Chicago winter. Just wanted to say thank you, for all you do!
Damn your voice and content is really relaxing in my opinion this is my asmr i made my own terrarium in a jar because of you thnx for everything you really made my lows become highs and my highs become space thnx man
absolutely stunning! I have rescued a frog once that was on the verge of death (dehydrated and very skinny, was laying on the road) and nurtured it back to health with the help of an expert an released it back into a nearby pond that has a lot of frogs. Since then I have been wanting to get a pet frog for a long time. This video is very inspiring for me to make a similair thing in the future. Great work :)
I love watching these videos, I so admire your dedication to each individual set-up and your patience making them, something I lack! Can’t wait to see Samson enjoying his new home :)
This channel is on such a specific topic, i would have never thought id be so invested in a terrarium/tank (sorry if im using the wrong terms lol) set ups. My favorite videos are your pet habitat ones!
I wish all of our reptile/amphibian/fish owners cared and put as much time and effort in as you do. Sometimes it's a fight to get people to put their animals in the bare minimum size requirements and here you are, making full gorgeous setups for them all. You're solidly an example of what pet ownership should be.
That wrapping of the plants with the geotextile fabric is a great idea for planted hermit crab tanks! Even when they pull them up they are less likely to destroy them completely and they can be replanted easily.
I used Syngonium in a leaf toad tank a few years ago. Within six months the entire 18X18X18 cube was packed with Syngonium! Additionally, there are lots of colorful cultivars for anyone who chooses to brave this aggressive terrarium plant. I'd love to see Tanner incorporate some Vanilla in this enclosure. It' get's huge but it is much more manageable than Syngonium and Pathos long term. Cheers, Chris
no matter how long ive watched and continue to watch tanner's videos, he always brings something new to the hobby whether it be design wise, mechanic wise, or something else. his videos are timeless and will never grow old/boring. thanks tanner for making this world a little better with your personality and ideas! keep up the great work!
Thanks for showing a method for definitively determining what glass is tempered after the last video. As someone who may one day not be afraid of cutting glass, it'll definitely help. As a side note, I'm not a fan of the look of faux rock, but given the size of a 75 gallon and how much it would weigh and cost to use solid rock, I'm all for it.
Absolutely LOVE IT!!! I originally found your videos when you uploaded his first enclosure. I was searching around due to purchasing my own AFB on how to build paludariums and it was love at first craft! I've used your videos to help create all sorts of set ups for my frogs turtles and even aquascape a huge goldfish tank. Dude your videos make my family and I so happy. Plus this is great inspo for a new tank for my bullfrog since hes roughly one now
You don’t cut any corners mate you are thorough and you create sone insane pieces of work I wish I had the pstience to do this because I want one of these badly
Best part of my Saturday. I can’t wait to see you set up dean, as I think that will be good inspiration for a cornsnake setup. Plus, Dean’s a beautiful snake and always steals the show. This setup for Samson is gorgeous and I’m sure he will love the extra space!
When you own an adult male of this species the enclosure has to be incredibly robust. Tanner's learnt from the last setup and improved on it to make sure it both meets the needs of the animal and is visually appealing.
I think it would look better if it has moss grown into the background, universal rock backgrounds just don’t compare to a original background made by tanner
I’ll probably never build anything like these and I’m not an animal hobbyists but dang are your videos entertaining and soothing to watch. It’s like you’re painting a picture. I’ve been subscribed for over a year and I just wanna say good job and I’m hella proud of you and I hope RUclips if your full time job now because you deserve to be able to do your passion as your living
Great build! I love universal rocks backgrounds but have yet to customize by cutting pieces and using the powder to blend seams together. This setup will be even more fire when the plants mature.
I’m a bit iffy on the fake rocks but I think overall it looks nice, and hopefully Sampson will let the plants live with him. Can’t wait to see him thrive in the new larger set up!
Beautifully endgame as always Tanner. A tip/bit of advise though;Any time you use thread tape it's best not to start from the end but about 2nd thread back. (Counter clockwise of course)
That is what I did last time actually ! I checked it several times and it appeared to black out. I think I was at a weird angle lol... You saw the out come 🤦♂️
@@SerpaDesign Hello Tanner, another awsome build, congrats!! I've been trying to reach you for quite some time now in your instagram account to clarify a doubt I have, but you haven't been able to reed my message yet. I hope you can read it soon. My instagram username is markirri30. Thanks and regards!!
I think the layout and plant selection is awesome, but it needs more small details. Smaller rocks on the water and land, pebble/gravel in some areas mixed w/the sand. Growing moss on the back wall would be awesome too- just a suggestion! Love your content dude.
I do enjoy this one VERY much, and learned new tips, again, you’re very easy to watch and learn from, look forward to seeing this as Sampson gets all moved in 🙏
I'm glad I subscribed and got the notification! Your tank builds always inspire me so much. I've recently taken an interest in plants and your tank builds are always so wonderfully done, I hope I'll be able to do this for my future pets one day!
Same I subscribed at the start of the year and have had had so much inspirational mine aren't as good as yours but please check it out And subscribe to me
It looks amazing but I keep picturing moss growing all up and down that background.... Or something similar it looks amazing how is but the background is so clean and fresh , idk maybe with age it'll get more character..... reguardless Tanner you are amazing and inspiring!!!! Great job on this build!!!!!
Just Re-did my Honey-Jack Bottle today... Shoulda known there'd be a Serpa Vid today! Amazing Setup. I can see this being Used for Many future Builds, of your Buddy Bull Frog doesn't like it.... I'd Enjoy it! Lol
I know that RUclips is making comments go away, but I'm going to leave one anyways. The setup is absolutely beautiful, Tanner! Samson is a very lucky frog!😀🐸💦👍
Love this build, having seen all the bullfrogs out this year, it looks just like a slice of wilderness that you'd find one in. Sometime I'd love for you to do a difficult terrarium for say a ball python or animal that likes to unintentionally trample plants, just to see how you tackle that problem (I've tackled it by picking hearty plants but they aren't the most aesthetically pleasing xD )
I just set up my first paludarium ever, inspired by you of course. I used the egg crate and zip tie method to create the land, and it even has a little water fall. I'm having a bit of trouble with the water feature, but that's expected. I'm super curious about the aquatic clean up crew! I'm already well versed in isopod and spirngtail cultures, and I was wondering if they had an underwater equivalent. :)
there are aquatic species of isopods and springtails! well, the springtails actually walk on the surface of the water, so idk if they can be called aquatic, but they're cool anyway :p

It's ok taner
It's ok
Awesome! :D
Congrats I have to give it to ya great build
Would love to see a new planted tank. :)
Imagine being an animal lucky enough to have Tanner make you a setup!

Ikr
Imagine being the animal free in the wild
Johan Babu free might not be better cuz They have predators
Chris Jafet never move out of ur moms house cuz u might face challenges
Just awesome, Tanner! This inspires me for when I decide to own an African Bullfrog one day. I love the Universal Rock and may order from them soon. :)
I'd never seen the Universal rock before. Now I have lots of ideas how I can use it! 😆
I'm actually family
Why do I find that watching the building of frog homes to be the most relaxing thing ever? Thank you Tanner :)

Honestly me too I watch his videos sometimes when I cant sleep. Very relaxing
Tanner has this effect, and it resulted in my son and I making a planted tetra 20g aquarium on whim at the beginning of the pandem
I do the same thing!! When my anxiety is bad I honestly throw on a vid and I feel calmed and inspired!
Just to clarify you sir are an artist. All you enclosures amazing

ughhh couldn’t agree more. i’ve seen big gold fish in a bucket that wasn’t but a few gallons if even... as well as the whole bettas in bowls
That wrapping of the plants with the geotextile fabric is a great idea for planted hermit crab tanks! Even when they pull them up they are less likely to destroy them completely and they can be replanted easily.
Awesome job!! :)
Glad to see you are providing a lot of water environment for your pixie frog.

Tanner, you should do these for aquariums and zoos, lots of these builds are prettier than the ones their
I love watching the builds. This looks beautiful. I'm looking forward to the update when the plants fill in.

Fantastic build my man! Can’t wait to see Samson go into it!
Can't wait to see what you've decided to do with the setup, seeing as Pixies can be such destructive frogs!
They can also be absolute gluttons.
ah, to be a frog living in Tanner's enclosures...
What you do is real art and it is incredibly inspiring to me! Thank you !
Looks great! Looking forward to seeing it grown in and Samson enjoying it ❤️

I really like it. It nice that is bigger for Samson to move around in
It turned out really beautiful, I'm sure Samson is gonna love it! The extra space will be great :)
You don’t cut any corners mate you are thorough and you create sone insane pieces of work I wish I had the pstience to do this because I want one of these badly
You never cease to amaze me with your attention to details Tanner. Really enjoyed this build. Sammy is so blessed with you. 🐸

Great tip on checking if the glass is Tempered or not 👍Awesome build! Can't get enough of the superb scapes you create. Tankcou Tanner ✌
Personally, I like the other setup better, but I’m sure it will grow on me as it matures. I sure do love that piece with moss on it though!
The Reptile Dude me too

Beautiful!

I love how you edited in Samson in the thumbnail! Makes him look huuuge. Great build btw! I’m sure Samson will enjoy his new forever home.
It's beautiful. He's gonna be one happy frog.
He is going to love his new home! Can't wait to see him hop in 😁❤
Totally awesome set up. Samson will love it im sure!!
Love it! Another fantastic build, I'm sure Samson will love his new home.
I’m sure Samson will appreciate the extra room. Looking forward to seeing him in it.]
I almost cried watching this video. Having even one terrarium like this is on my bucket list. I tried once... it failed miserably!
Look forward to seeing this get established
Great build! I love universal rocks backgrounds but have yet to customize by cutting pieces and using the powder to blend seams together. This setup will be even more fire when the plants mature.
This build is heart touching
I’m a bit iffy on the fake rocks but I think overall it looks nice, and hopefully Sampson will let the plants live with him. Can’t wait to see him thrive in the new larger set up!
You make it look so easy .. The skills you have is just amazing.
great video tanner, the pothos gives the setup a really nice look 👌
Beautifully endgame as always Tanner.
A tip/bit of advise though;Any time you use thread tape it's best not to start from the end but about 2nd thread back. (Counter clockwise of course)
Beautiful set up!!
Beautiful, as always. I love seeing these guys get the space they deserve!
Nice tip on the tempered glass-I’m sure after your last mistake you found a reliable check for it 😂
That is what I did last time actually ! I checked it several times and it appeared to black out. I think I was at a weird angle lol... You saw the out come 🤦♂️

Marco Rodríguez You can always share it here - he might chime in, or his fanbase may be able to help. :)
I fricken love the designing of this!!
It turned out beautifully,
And may I add, your bullfrog is adorable, and lucky.
Might have to steal some of these ideas for future builds! Looks good as always, good work Tanner! :)
That's a really cool trick to figure out if the glass is tempered or not!
As usual it is beautiful Tanner. You are very talented.

Looks great I know he's gunna love it.
Beautiful tank 😃👍😉🙋♀️
This is just too rad
I think a couple flowering air plants up in the higher areas would be nice. Great set up :D
I can't wait to see how the plants will grow in
SerpaDesign is more of a carpenter than a vivarium designer
Really enjoy your vids mate. Keep them rolling... from Australia 👍
I think it looks amazing!
Can you do one for me?! 😂
No but seriously, well done bro. You are very talented and you have so much patience! Nice video. 🎩👊

Looks great!
amazing build man!
I know that RUclips is making comments go away, but I'm going to leave one anyways. The setup is absolutely beautiful, Tanner! Samson is a very lucky frog!😀🐸💦👍
Why would RUclips make comments go away?
Beautiful!
Imagine making a huge nature set up for a cat. Like in one of those net sheds that keeps your cat safe when they are outside? That would be epic
serpa cant wait to see your paludarium! big fan
I love it. Great job.
