The way you grip the steering wheel for dear life as the car goes from 40mph to 60mph in 10 seconds was a riot. The 4.6L modular blocks are severely underpowered. 224 hp 275 Lbs ft torque 4,117 Lbs I had a 1996 Buick Roadmaster (The GM equal to the Mercury Grand Marquis). It had a 5.7L 260 hp 330 Lbs ft torque 4,211 Lbs The Buick destroyed my Grand Marquis in acceleration and top speed. And the comfort in the Buick, so much better. I had 8-way power seats. Inflatable front seats. Upper, mid and lower lumbar. Then it had tilt forward and backwards. Then it had ride height. Recline and back and forth.
I think the Video host misinterprets the Ultimate Edition badging. There were UE badged Grand Marquis models well before this 2010 model. The ‘Ultimate’ badge was also used on the Lincoln Town Car in 2004, substituting that name for the ‘Cartier Edition’ used in prior years. Those were the top of the line trim levels in their respective model years. I have a 2011 Grand Marquis Ultimate and a 2004 Lincoln TC Ultimate.
Itsnot the latest abd the greatest but it's tougher than nails and it will run forever and parts are cheap .rear wheel drive is a lot better no fooling around with maintainance rear brakes that's it no bearings a axel shafts to fix or repair ever a good solid very safe car
It depends on yhe driver if yiu want to drive it like grama then thats why the cops had no issues makeing them move. If yiu don't know how to.push a crown vic then get out and let a man show you
Always nice to see a panther in good shape 👍 Nowadays I only see clapped out Crown Vics.

Good thing the steering wheel isn't wood, otherwise it would have caught on fire.
interesting specs about the roadmaster. How does the reliability compare to the grand marquis?
Nice but go and find your Buick now and see if it will last even close to the panther platform.

Marquis has a 4valve,the Crown Victoria has a two valve there both capable of producing more with a few mods and hp will change with the right mods.
The Grand Marquis has the same 2 valve 4.6/as the Crown Vic. Only the Marauder model of the Grand Marquis had the 4 valve DOHC engine.
Ok marauder has the 4valve,and Grand Marquis/Crown Victoria have the 2valve.thanks for the correction.
