Yes those are great relaxing breathing skills and I do them, but the seizures aren’t always caused by stress. There are so many various triggers and sometimes come on with no warning so hard to do during seizures like those. Especially when they squeeze your chest and trunk, then breathing becomes impossible until it lets up. My recent ones have been squeezing me there and it’s like a circuit or flashing light that comes and goes and I’m able to do deep breathing in between but not after gasping for breath.
Nah, this is nothing to do with stress or panic attacks in that situation you can't do deep breathing exercises at that moment maybe with Tremors. This is what seizures look like when you have Epilepsy or NES. Suddenly bursts of circuit disruption in the brain 🧠 circuit overload or sensory overload. This makes it hard to maintain awareness or control the body during that time. With FND you can have either Epilepsy seizures or Non Epilepsy Seizures or both which is even harder. There are different types of seizures. Neurologists still don't know much about Complex Neurological Disorders. Do your research and study from actual real people??? Not theories studies you think you know. This is the second most common Neurological problem FND after headache/Migraine.
