Man. Your skills and advice and instructions are really fantastic. I’m looking at one tomorrow. I want a machine that’s easy to work on and still fun. Thanks.
I like your videos. I did mix lines the same way. You did yours, and it started to pay, and then it quit. It looked like it. had air in the l Lines how can I fix it
I'm not sure. It could be a little "bubbly" when your on the water but you should be getting a least a small stream out the pee hole in the rear. With a hose on it out of the water should be pretty consistent and all water. It's possible you have a obstruction somewhere. Go to my channel and watch another video I did called "seaddoo gti how to troubleshoot overheating". You might get ideas from that.
It's a 717cc. I don't know how many miles. Depends on how you ride. If I had to guess I say it gets 5 or 6 miles per gallon under very modest riding conditions.
I wonder if you took the exhaust part out of the equation how strong the tell tale would be. I read the other guys comment on smoke I wonder how it reduces smoke or if it's even noticeable.
I'm not sure. I don't know the purpose of the hose to the rear exhaust. I read what someone did say about smoke (that you mention) and maybe it does play a factor. One thing I do know for sure is that you don't want to melt the fitting in the rear that the exhaust goes out the hull. I have done it and they sink half way fast and you have to get the water out of the engine and tow em and all that fun stuff. It could play a role in the cooling of that fitting but I doubt it, really so I'd say it's best left running to that as it's been designed in for a reason.
Go to my channel. I have a vid on "how the cooling system works" and "how to troubleshoot overheating" on these machines. They might help you. Thanks! Paul
@@paulhaines5755 the water going to the exhast then out AND going to the tale tale have to be the same and won't change but the factory prioritize for less smoke.. the tale tale is only there to reconize the well-being of the cooling systeme..

how many gallons is your seadoo
think it's like 11 or 12 gallons.
My 2000 sea food RX doesn’t seem to be flowing water through the cylinder and head or the tail tail.
Any suggestions on what to check?

the water going to exhast is to have less smoke, which is more important than a tale tale....
Oh - good tip although I might disagree that less smoke is more important than overheating your engine.

Gotcha. Thanks!
The manufacturers diagram does not show it this way.
The diagram I have and the one I show in this videos shows it the way I have it "plumbed" in this vid.
