  • Welcome to the review of the Town & Country "The Sinner" Twin Fin by Glenn Pang, which I have been riding in the stock 5'9 x 19 3/4 x 2 5/8 - 33.89L
    People will likely be familiar with "The Saint" by Glenn Pang which was made famous by Martin "Pottz" Potter in the 80's. Well, the SNR (Sinner) is Glenn Pang's take on a modern twin fin compared to the Saint which is based off of the original, 80's design.
    Through the bottom, The SNR carries a deep single concave, giving the board extra lift and speed through flatter, mushier sections. Through the tail, a wide single channel gives allot of traction and bite through the turns when you run the board as a straight twinny. The single wing and swallow tail, adds to the board's performance.
    In the Sinner I rode a few different twin fin setups, but I felt that the T1 by Futures worked best with it.
    From futuresfins.com.au/products/t...
    The T1 Honeycomb Twin +1 is Future's twin-fin design for down the line drive, speed and smooth rail-to-rail feel that modern twin-fin surfing is known for. Made with honeycomb construction, the medium flex pattern offers a softer feel than fins from solid fiberglass, helping to create additional lift and drive in softer conditions.
    The set is equipped with the option to ride with a small trailer fin for increased stability, creating more of a thruster feel.
    Template Category | Neutral (balanced, all-around)
    Construction | Honeycomb
    Size | Medium Twin +1

      Hey! Not really a small wave board this one…
      Favourite small wave board - Nick Blair “Cab Sav”. Nothing surfs tiny waves like that thing…

    This looks like a very similar outline to the Twinsman by Album. Is it close, or a totally different shape altogether?

    • @TheSurfboardGuide
      @TheSurfboardGuide  2 года назад

      Similar, but different.
      The Twinsman carries much more foam/thickness through the board with the flat deck and chimed rail.

    Just picked a used Stu Sharpe shaped T&C board. Looks like the Saint artwork. Instead of green & yellow, it’s pink & green, but looks more like the Sinner shape & it’s also a 2+1. Haven’t had it out in the water yet. But this review, has got me frothing to take it out!

    Man, I have the chance to get this board but there's not much info about it... and then I just found this review. Fins for this? Big uprights I guess. I have the Captain Fin Twin special, which are the same size as the T1s, but they might be small...

    • @TheSurfboardGuide
      @TheSurfboardGuide  2 года назад

      Yeah, big uprights.
      I needed a stabilizer, struggled without it, but you might be ok if you’re a little lighter on your feet!

      @@TheSurfboardGuide They had a set of Tyler Warren's 2+1 one at the shop. Put them, liked them, left them on.
      I'm using the trailer since winged twin fin boards look like they need. Maybe one day I'll remove, but not anytime soon
