Fully enjoy getting to see others collect and comment on various games that interests them. Added a couple to my radar. I appreciate sharing in the fun and knowledge about the games. I usually only pick up 1 or 2 times a year and just go spending crazy. more exiting then drip feeding myself all year
Third time I've watched this one, just something comforting like hanging out with friends.
I'm not a collector as such but I have fond memories of when the SNES was nearing the end and N64 was on the horizon. Game shops used to have baskets full of SNES games going cheap.
Oh and I did enjoy picking up every Capcom fighting game they released on the SNES, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast and XBOX.

Yes, Try, John Linneman is an excellent salesman for retro games. He constantly has me picking up and appreciating games I would have never even considered in the past. Sometimes he gets us in early though, before the price spikes... probably due to his recommendations :D
Also, when you play through the first Maximo game, I promise it only starts out really difficult. It eases up after the first level. One thing I don't think the game tells you is that when you find a mound of dirt that's a checkpoint, you have to stab your sword into the ground. If you don't do that and you die at the end of the stage, it's back to the beginning.

For Spiderman and Tony Hawk please look out for those Dreamcast versions. They aren't just 480p uprezzed versions, there's considerable differences! Spiderman especially is VERY different!

Bah scalpers in line. When the nes classic launched there was a family infront of me. Had a conversation with the mom and teenager talking bad about the couple infront getting 2 each. Then the mom, teenager, younger bro, and grandpa got 2 each. This people are shameless.

Wish there were more pick-ups videos from MLIG! I live in the University area and was sad to see The Grid move near the airport. By far the best selection and prices of Xbox 360 games I've ever seen. Wish Goodwill would open more locations!
Funnily enough I too purchased the Motorstorm games again after watching John Linnemans video. Cost me about £8 for the 3 :)
Regarding Flipnic, It's dirt cheap in the UK. Always been a game I would have thought would be way more expensive but it literally goes for £4-5 here. I've had it since it came out. Proper delightful game.

I wish I had the means to have visited the Limited Run Games store to attempt to pick up a copy of Shantae and the Pirate's Curse for Switch. It's the only game in the series on Switch that I don't own. I had the opportunity to buy it about a year ago for $99, but I felt that price was too high. Now that the price has increased to $500 to $1,000, I'm wishing I had purchased it for $100.
I did pick up Pirate's Curse for $85 and thought it was a bit much but I'm glad I did. However I also grabbed the Star War Jedi Knight 2 pack for $120 and then that got a retail release that you can get for like $20. lol
1:32:40 you bring up the first assassins' creed as a game that is xbox one backwards compatible through disc only. I own it digitally but i bought back on the 360 when xbox games on demand was a new concept. not sure if you can buy it digitally now

I like Audi's philosophy - buying bad games is fun because "Who does that?" Me. While everybody else was hunting down the NES greats to start a collection, the first set I completed was SeanBaby's 20 worst.

I totally agree with Try: I get upset about the titles being upside down on the side of the PS1 longboxes.
Also, I agree with him: I *HATE* those custom end labels on N64 cartridges. I like them exactly how they are.
Yeah I'm not into em either. Given the choice I'd rather use the old clear clamshell plastic boxes with the manual serving as the cover. There's also custom smaller plastic cases that you could just put labels on those and they can be found cheap enough, so long as I'm not slapping stickers on the carts!
Maybe try making sleeves for the N64 games. Or label the permanent spot where you the game. I am the same way.

I think it's quite ironic that they're talking about physical vs digital deals with specifically the Nioh collection as the example.
Because I'm not entirely sure about everything I've gotten for "free" aka included with an active subscription to ps plus and game pass as there's so much but I'm pretty sure it's been given away or atleast Nioh 2, not as sure about the first game, which is probably what devalued the physical copy.
I'd say $0 is a better deal than $20, especially if it was one of playstations monthly hand outs as you get to keep those too and not just the game catalog where it will be removed at some point when it's not worth the license anymore.
I rarely play games after finishing them so it doesn't really matter personally, rare exceptions like 10 years from now will be dirt cheap anyways if i simply must have them in the future so it's not a concern, but yeah it's a bit unfortunate when particularly cool games from your backlog disappear before you play them but admittedly in most cases they're giving you more than a fair chance and a warning.

Having first discovered, for myself, the Tenshu series in its third release (and still prior to its fourth release), I _reeeally_ wanted to like Tenshu 2; just to get more Tenshu-goodness in my life. But alas, Tenchu 2 plays like such a chore. You spend so much time dragging bodies around to hide them, that is starts to feel like a true-crime sim. Perhaps some might argue, appropriately so; given that you are basically playing as a capitol offender in black pajamas...

Sorry to say, but Power Rangers ARE considered Tokusatsu. Just look it up online. It's mentioned everywhere; if you wanted to get technical, you could say Super Sentai is a Tokusatsu subgenre - but it's still in that family.
Wcw vs Nwo Revenge is the best not only on the system but ever... still to this day. WCW vs NWO World Tour WCW vs NWO Revenge and then the two WWE games all were the best style wrestling games I like Revenge the best because I like the wcwn the characters selection however the WWF games offer the backstage wrestling and more to interact with

I have n64 development console and sgi power animator 10.5 sealed with license cert amd stuff as well as 9.5 and 8.5. 9.5 is sealed but torn. Ans 8.5 is open.

2:19:00 definitely disagree, the Dreamcast version was made by Treyarch, has all the features of the PS1 version but runs at 480p and a better frame rate. Not that the PS1 version isn't a great game, it's the one I grew up with.

Audi isn't quite correct about Sentai there. It is totally Tokusatsu being both a sub genre and Super Sentai being a series itself.
