It's weird, isn't it? And the number of security of guards seems directly proportional to the amount of collective panic and paranoia whenever a camera appears. You'd think they'd feel safety in numbers, but clearly not.
Agree we don't have freedom anymore .I'm old I remember good days. You could go on holiday in caravan pretty much pull up many places did not litter disrespect places no ridiculous byelaws,restrictions. Traffic violations get a ticking off from a polite man have a nice discussion that was end of it no escalating no patronising. Oh I miss those days 😢
And that’s without mentioning the fact that all security barely speaks word of English. Sad days indeed
Thank you so much for doing this location, I was there a little while ago to pickup my wife from a concert and decided to take some photos outside on the pavement!, I was immediately surrounded by a bunch of goons with the whole this is private land nonsense, as a photographer I'm grateful you are educating fools who think because you have a camera you're either a paedophile or a terrorist, sadly if I'd been a middle aged woman with a camera phone they wouldn't have bothered me, but a middle aged man with a DSLR, that's a different story

Yeah. Everything about him was off. Didn't even have a coat or anything, clearly just come out the building. Took a long time pulling up the channel as well, could've easily hit subscribe in that amount of time.

It got a lot of bad publicity because of the cost, but I went there for the day and payed ten pounds to get in and it was brilliant

If you see a building what looks like a circus tent you know there be lots of clowns about.
That's rich the MET allocate plain clothes officers to high profile attractions to catch shoplifters but if a poor shopkeeper barely making a living reports a shoplifter or even catches one the MET demand the shoplifter be let go and just issue a crime number over the phone. I used to sail passed the Dome in my 1930s wooden boat, now if I saw all that security I'd have been worried and moved to the other bank to keep well away from em. In the 15 years I sailed the Thames I was only ever boarded once by the river police, but not before they apologized for putting up a huge wake.
