I was raised in the SDA Church until the age of 7, when both parents left the Church. I've led a very hedonistic lifestyle, but always had guilt, & wished often for ignorance!! 11 yrs ago, after becoming addicted to pain medicine from an 8+ back surgeries in 6 months nightmare, I called out to the Lord, & He's changed my life in incredible ways!! I still struggle with forgiveness, however. I watched a beloved boyfriend shoot himself in front of me, & other traumas, but God has brought me through it all. I'm realizing that the time is coming, to get off the fence & get baptized. But, I still struggle with smoking, & He has always done the miracles in His own time. What to do?? My parents are both back in the Church, & my 25 yr old son, was baptized at 14, & is a deacon for the SDA Church they attend. And my beloved, hero Dad, has mesothelioma.

But what I have totally clear now is that the hell is not for eternity, it is going to be as you explained until earth will be consumed, until it will be transformed into ashes. At 41: 20 talking about how much better our new bodies will be, I believe the most important one would be that we will be able to THINK better. We have devolved so far that we are dunces compared to even the antediluvian people. If we want to study the love of God, it will help greatly to have much better cognitive powers as well as a fully retentive memory. There will be greater things to learn than we can anticipate, but the greatest of all rewards is meeting Christ face to face.

An correction to pastor doug, the answer he gave, regarding tatoo, that bible text he gave, that is in the context of another event that happened back then. So, it has nothing to do with tattoo.. In regarding to tattoos you must always consider 3 biblical principles. 1. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit 2. You are purchased with the price of the life of God. 3. You are an ambassador for Christ. You reflect who you serve.

How did Jacob not know it was Leah in the morning I believe he had to be drunk
I loved this sermon, but you lose me when you say "Jesus is a better savior than you are a sinner and all you have to do is accept his son" You refer to God Jehova and the son Jesus interchangeably, but Jesus always made a distinction. It really throws me.
My thought about Leah is remember these women had to wear a vail to cover their face, and Laban was very deceitful. We dont know how much Leah took part in the deception. She was always jealous of Rachel.
Read: Genesis 29:27-28 Jacob was allowed to marry Rachel (at the end of his week of marriage with Leah)
but had to work another 7 more years for his Uncle Laban...
I don’t remember reading that Leah “was always jealous of Rachel.” Genesis 30:1 “And when Rachel saw that she bear Jacob no children, Rachel ENVIED her sister...”
Don’t forget that Jacob also had history of being deceitful and manipulative.
