      Congratulations on your life changing decision. Stay focused on Christ because Satan is going throw you a lot of trouble just to make you doubt your decision. Remember we battle against not flesh and blood but against principalities,against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places . Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God ,that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,and having done all , to stand .

      What does the Bible say Enoch did? Genesis 5:24 and 6:9 ( for clarification) . Also , Hebrews 11:5 and Jude 1:14-25.
      First, Moses tells us Enoch walked with God , then he further explained what that meant in his reference to Noah walking with God as did his great -grandfather Enoch. A just man ( fair and honest) . Perfect in his generation ( wholeheartedly following God / not divided in loyalty / without fault) .
      Hebrews clarifies that Enoch was not taken in death, but was translated without seeing death. Hebrews also says that Enoch’s testimony to future generations is that he pleased God. And further states in Chapter 11:6 that without faith it is impossible to please God, because those with faith must also believe He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. This includes : moving with fear/ obedience to do God’s will, confession, and not ashamed to be God’s child and desiring Heaven as one’s home, ready to die if necessary for Him, suffering affliction rather than enjoying sin for a season, esteeming reproach of Christ greater than riches, giving up our worldly homes for caves and mountain retreats or deserts Hebrews 11: 7-40.
      Then , Jude explains that Enoch was also a prophet who preached about the second coming of the Lord. God was coming as judge and there is a list of what last day sinners will be doing: murmuring, complaining, walking after their own lusts, speaking great swelling-words, admiring men’s persons because of advantages, mocking God as they walk after their own ungodly lusts, these are they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. ( the translators clarify by referencing Hosea 9:10) . What does Hosea say ? It says they were committing the abomination, joining with Baalpeor. Let’s look at Ezekiel 16:49 “ Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom: pride, fullness of bread, abundance of idleness, not strengthening the hand of the poor and needy, haughty, and committing abomination before me : therefore I took them away as I saw good. “
      So if we do the opposite of all the things these sinners were and are doing we are headed in the right direction.

    Pastor you said once that God cannot be surprised, this is a question that is confusing me, if that is so, and I believe that this is true, then when GOD created Lucifer and the other third of the Angels who rebelled, GOD would have known that Lucifer would rebel, GOD would have known when he created Adam and Eve what they would do. And I then wonder why God didn't sit Adam and Eve down on the first day of the week after the first Sabbath and open the window of time and showed them the consequences of eating the fruit? And you will say God has blessed us with freedom of choice, but when someone makes a choice it should be based on information about that choice, what will be the results of the choice. If God had shown them what would happen then there is no way they would have eaten from that cursed tree. And the easiest reply would be that then they would serve GOD out of fear not love but I don't agree with that, I believe that they would have served GOD with the full knowledge of the consequence of going against God's will. Truly this is something that I struggle with, something that confuses me and something that is so hard to understand.

      @@Heavensoon7 the Fourth commandment was a shadow of what was to come. What was to come was the reality Jesus. Col 2:16,17 Paul makes it clear something changes with the Sabbath day! Sabbaton a weekly Sabbath Greek. Paul uses an illustration with a Shadow. A shadow is not the real thing or substance the real person or Realty is. Jesus became our Sabbath. Our eternal Sabbath. To enter his rest permanently. Which we do by faith. Hebrews says the Jews kept a weekly Sabbath but never entered his rest. TODAY hear his voice and enter his rest or Sabbath.The new covenant church enters his Sabbath by faith.

    • @Heavensoon7
      @Heavensoon7 2 месяца назад

      @@Oceanman551 The shadow was the sanctuary service itself, not the 10 commandments. Sabbaths with a small “s” are not the same as the Sabbath. The others were feast days . Col. 2:14-17 Matthew 27:51 refers to what ended at his death. The ordinances placed in a side pocket of the ark of the covenant were nailed to the cross and the curtain was ripped because Jesus was taking the high priest place, going directly to his Father to plead our case ( 1st John 2:1-2) . Written in stone to this day means cannot be changed and will not waver.
      But the law written in stone with God’s own finger and placed in the treasure chest sitting under Him can never change because it is the foundation of His Kingdom / Government. Hebrews 9 explains it well.
