- Minecraft 1.21 Guide is back with a brand new farm fit for the 1.21 update! Today in order to unlock all of the other farms in our world we must build a new farm. Farming Crops (wheat, carrot, potato, beetroot) in Minecraft can be a little tedious. This farm changes it all!

I took a break from mc for a few years and I'm just coming back. So happy to see wattles is still his good old self and still doing content.
Same here! I took about a two year break and recently got back into it and can’t put it down lol Minecraft is the only game my wife plays with me so she was happy I started playing again.
I say keep building in this new area, I love the cherry base but it’s only right to switch things up with a new update! :)
Hey quick suggestion if u want to be extra lazy you can put a make a crafter and put it down under a Hopper so when the water flows down it pushes the seed and wheat to the Hopper and it goes down into the crafter it makes bread and you can also put another Hopper underneath the crafter and have it point to a chest so the bread goes into a chest for you. (hope this helps)
I might take this idea for my own farm, that's a cool idea 😊

It's just a few bucks a month and this is my favorite channel.
For the trial chamber museum…you can add an interactive feature by glassing in one, or several, of the spawners and add dispensers with different weapons/traps setup. Or just glassed in spots like a zoo or diorama at a museum without the weapons.

Hey wattles. You should build an mob-proof underground village to keep the villagers safe.
This will be a lot of copper, tuff blocks, and other blocks that are appeared in Minecraft 1.21. It will include a crafting laboratory because they released an auto crafter block. Also includes an enchanted library, a farmer's market, an auto sorting storage including the sweet berries, an entrance, an exit, rails and minecarts, and a Christmas tree.
That also requires cobblestone, stone, and polished stones for the roads, lanterns for the street lights, and a safe for diamonds, gold, iron, emeralds, copper, and other treasures.
It is gonna take a long time to build, so please do this, one at a time, okay? BTW love the video.

I love guides. I wish I knew you played in Java before I started building one of these. BTW, it does not work in bedrock...and apparently dispensers with water are also currently broken in bedrock - they don't pick up the water when shut off.
I'm a Bedrock player: is it a Java thing that trapdoors work this way? Mine keep either never holding back the water or always. depending on which block I place the trapdoor on.
Same on me. I simply HATE Bedrock but, i have to play on mobile so i have to play Bedrock. I really liked this farm but i just discouraged asf right now

I would have dug another block under the water at the end of both sides of the farm so that it can flow back to the center, then put only one hopper into the chest since it is more efficient

Okay, you made mu want to share this, but recently I forgot a sweet potato on my kitcher for a little too long and it begun to sprout. So I thought: hey, can I plant this? I planted it and forgot for a while... To my surprise: it survived on its own and a few months later I harvested 5 sweet potatoes. I was able to eat it and I don't know, but I really felt proud to do it. Now I planted it again and will take actual care of it

i like this farm for its simplicity, buuut if i could add one thing it would be to unify the collection systems by adding two additional waterstreams and placing the chest in the center by the lever

I love the guide series. Its very helpful. But i did notice that the videos are shorter than before im not sure if thats what your aiming for but i prefer longer videos but thats just my opinion. You do whatever feels right to you wattles

I think you should keep expanding on that side. Then you could connect them all together at the end or when a new big update drops.

I'm about to replace my 1.21 world starting crop farm with this design. But I'm gonna be placing the lighting under the crops since the light comes through the tilled blocks
I wouldn't if you are on bedrock hav tried several times just how he shows in the video and for some reason it will not work the trapdoors will not hold back the water goes right through if I get it to by random chance to hold it then it will not flow when it goes down to release.
My question is how does this compare to automated farms? I would assume it is slower because a villager harvests and replants the second each crop is ready where most people will wait till ALL the crops are ready to flood the field.
Can you do a few tests with different designs and see how much they produce per day?
Is there a way to give a villager a fortune 3 hoe by dropping or forcing it on him with a dispenser like you can with armor? Will that increase their harvest? If not, they should add that; you are investing in your farmers so they should do better output, maybe even pay them emeralds to boost their productivity like they can hold 20 emeralds and they spend 2 a day so that gives them 10 days of boost to whatever you have them doing. That or be able to make splash potions of farming that use emeralds as the ingredient and it gives them several hours of double farming output.
They also need a Villager update to increase Villager usefulness.
Have the archery targets (archers workstation with a target on top) be training areas that you task a villager to and they become wandering archery guardians of the village that you can give enchanted weapons and armor to
Same for knights (make a forge with an anvil on top be their training area) and when you assign a villager they carry a sword and shield (or trident in beach/swamp biomes) and defend the village at night and you can assign if they work days or nights etc.
Make a new item called a jewelers glass (a telescope and a nether star) and if you take a villager to an amethyst geode and put the jewelers glass in a chest and give a pick to the villager he will start farming the shards and place them in the chest and you can just hopper away into bigger storage.
So many ways to make end game villager content, imagine getting 20 combat villagers (Archers and Knights) and raiding a trial chamber. Hell more ideas, The leatherworker can be upgraded to a rogue in full leather that backstabs from behind only then vanishes like the wandering trader at night, The potion brewer can be a magician that buffs and heals the group or poisons the enemies and can use the wind charges as an endless item to push mobs around. the farmers can be experts of animal husbandry and they each can be assigned dogs that they breed into war dogs or goats they make into battle rams, they can make war horses for the knights that charge attack and kick, the librarians can become wizards or craft siege weapons like ballista that 4 knights can operate to move around and one shot most mobs... all kinds of possibilities; they start off as regular villagers but then you can upgrade them to their war / endgame abilities.

Find a Trial Chamber and clear 1-2 layer around the chamber. Find all types of Ores!
I think some dark oak fences would look nice in your farm with the copper.

Wattles can you look into this bug MCPE-162920 it's been 2 years and mojang has done nothing so maybe if someone bigger in the minecraft community talks about they'll do something I have a 7 year old world that just hasn't worked in 2 years and nothing saves in cloud so if I need to re download minecraft again I'll lose everything so I just stopped playing I've used 4 different Xboxs and still the same problem please help

Yes. Just like any other item, but that might take the long term fun out of trial chambers. With that being said, you should play however makes it fun for you.
