Hi Kripal... I'm blown away by your kindness in recording message for your admirer Seema ji... Beautiful virtue actually one of the greatest virtues to possess and share joy around... Best wishes always... 🎉
Hi Kripal, We are blown away with your kindness.....it feels so special that you sent a voice message to Seema..... It's not just a message rather your kindness..... You are a Big hearted person......😊
I had done a similar plum cake tour in 2022 Christmass for my mom because she is a big fan of plaum cakes...all of them were good...Thom's to Koshys except Aubree and OG which I am yet to try. But my favourires are Koshys and Glens Bakehouse.
Hello Kripala Ji ! I immensely appreciate your presence of mind to instantly acknowledge and overwhelm one of your differently abled " listner" by reaching out to her directly through your message exclusively dedicated to her. I stumbled upon your videos in 2021 when I became very health conscious after the pandemic and during the same period I have learned about healthy foods and quit eating everything that you show and discribe. Although I am not eating anything like before I still watch your videos and I am saving your locations of promotions to eat the same when I am on tour and when I temporarily cannot follow my healthy eating routines. Merry Christmas 🎄 , Happy New Year 2024 and Pongal. Wishing you a good health. Thank you.
Good afternoon dear Kripal - Time for another Plum cake journey . In the last vlog , the Matured Plum cake was a hit for me 😀 Wow that’s so sweet of you to record a message to Seema 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You are true coffee lover ☕️ Time to taste the Fruit plum cake . Looks like it’s loaded with spices and also using a technique to retain the moisture in the absence of egg 🥚. The rich plum cake is of my types (boozy one ) Wow that’s an awesome Shirt 👔 that you have donned 👌👌 I have been to Koshy’s a couple of times . Whoa they use Peta in making of their PC ( 18 ingredients) . That’s a wonderful history that the PC’s have been transported to our armed forces in Siachen 🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯 Looks like the raw version of the RPC itself is good to eat on its own 😀 Sorry missed it but was it the Boozy type ? I really liked the zeal of Mr VijayShankar in constant search of excellence through experiments .Oh it’s more of a rich fruit cake - will give it a pass 😀 They do have a range of cookies and other 🍰. Excellent PC trail . For me out of the dozen plum cakes that you tried , the Matured Plum Cake was my number 1 preference based on its preparation and your review . Thanks for your wishes . Wishing you and your wonderful family a Merry Christmas 🎅🎄. Have a wonderful weekend. Take care and God bless . Loads of love and respect 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, Rajesh, the Koshy’s plum cake was deep in its soaked flavours too, am glad you found some cakes you would like to try from this trail. Wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas season too. God bless!
Thank you! We love all your shows. I was just nostalgically thinking about plum cakes when this video came up ...👍😀😍 I have been looking for an alternative to the Nilgiri's Plum cakes. They were my favorite for ages. It was very sad to see the Brigade road store close. Will surely visit some of these stores on my next trip ... and also the many others I have seen on your videos!!! Need to make a list ... wish you had one with some details and what you liked most in each of them. Happy eating😋
Sir you missed the Legendary Nilgiris Plum Cake. They are now made by the Nilgiris family Members under the brand name Mount Blue - Mount Blue Bakery on Magrath Road and N Stores who is now organising the cake show in Banaglore. They probably would have an outlet at the cake show. By far the Nilgiris Plum Cake is the best.
Kripal you have provided Bengalureans variety of plum cakes that is amazing - Thank you for the detailed information - Merry Christmas Happy Plum CAKED eating 🙂
Kripal navru rocking as usual, Koshys cake tastes the best, but please watch out for new competitors who might be more hygienic, Koshys please upgrade, cheers.
Every thing about Koshys cakes was so good in the video, until I saw the guy using bare unclean hands to lift cake mixture and pour into cake baking cans. Total flop
Wherever you try whatever you try but please try Koramangala smore Store plum cake it's absolutely Top Notch and the next level test can't get the taste anywhere in Bangalore this is my challenge and this is my assurance please go and try smore plum cake
I was looking for eggless no alcohol plum cake and found it with Aubree. Thanks to you sir for guiding us. Koshy's plum cake is also eggless but do they soak their dry fruits in alcohol(rum/wine) ? I think its not been mentioned in the video.
Great tour of Plum cakes in Bangalore. My favorite was Niligris on Brigade Road. I am told they have closed operations. Kripal I have one non food related question. Where do you buy your hats. A short episode on hats will be a great one. Take care and Merry Christmas
I loved the All Saints Plum cake ..the lady said she first soaks the ingredients , fruits in rum, then whiskey and finally beer hahahah😂😂😂….I’mma heading there now 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
Yaay u went to aubree ....i dont know if they are they best amongst your list but surely is my fav ..like thoms too And the kind lady's sweet words just made me realise how u bring joy and touch hearts of many ❤
@kripal sir . Looking your video I went to try out koshy's traveling 7+ kms . The shopkeeper was annoying and no plum cake was available. And to mention there were only non veg items available. It's an old bakery may be not managed well.
😢 that's so sad, I agree sometimes the shopkeeper is annoying. Once I had to go there nearly three times, right after work. But I got it only the 4th time, since I really love the cake there, I did that, even though it was annoying. If I was around I would love to put that effort to get you one plum cake @rakeshritti so that you could just taste it. And oh yes, I can't agree with you more, they always seem out of stock, looks like they have umpteen customers😛 (I think after the 3rd time i called them i guess to make sure there was a cake available). I really wish someone could guide you better🙂🥲
Looking at this I went to Aubree. But not at all worth. 500GM costs almost 900Rs . But no nuts . No flavour of Rum and wine . Very little bitterness found at the end. My expectations were destroyed. You get better cake in small bakeries.
Koshy's bakery the preparation placelookscreallt dirty. The cloth covering the cake racks looked shabby and unwashed for years. And the aluminum moulds looks sooo old person ws doing witb his hand too
@@yogamarga6743 Yes we all know how "cooking professionals" work in bakeries and hotels, Chats stalls etc. how hygiene the process or how they maintain the 'personal hygiene' while cooking! I have seen workers not using soap for handwashing after they use washroom and straight away mix the Idly/dosa batter or Chapati/poori dough or any other ingredients they handle for that matter, its just that we can't see what happens behind the scene. You still think cockroaches won't touch those cakes left in open air for 3-4 days? This generally what happens in Indian food industry. There may be some exceptional cases like 'Tasty Nibbles". But I do eat in typical/normal/roadside food joints across Bangalore without any hesitation! If you can't see the unseen...pls see it in new perspective.

As a Banglorean I would go foe Koshy's plum cake which i feel is the best so far....❤❤❤

Greatly appreciate your efforts in showing various plum cakes....you have also demonstrated the rich and varied history of bakeries in Bangalore
My pleasure 😊

Tasty plum cakes never knew so many bakeries sell them in Bangalore, and old recipes are still used. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year wishes.

The Koshys plum cake that I tasted has eggs, and yes the fruits are soaked.
No Doubt Koshys is the best 💯

Chandi is Tulu word, In kannada wet means odde :) @Kripal
6:33 - So true. Egg cakes smell a lot and you cant have them for long time.. Also they spoil the taste of the cake and smell stays in tongue.
Sir why dont you cover nilgiris if they still exist in nama Bengaluru
Did a plum cake hopping as well and of all I find Koshys the best!
British influence we get to taste this plum cake.

Good afternoon all friends
Mr. Abraham bakery should be sealed as seeing the way of preparing and materials and machines are rested.. what is the guarantee for these plum cakes
You should just avoid eating everywhere and probably cook yourself 😂 atleast they were willing to show the process without any disdain😮
Explain in Kannada Sir... It is best.

Hi sir Good evening Sir aap ko ek mail kiya hai please rply
Ordered rich plum cake from Aubree. It was just average. Nothing special
Koshys may be best and authentic by seeing the cake mixing machine. But poor in packaging design.
And Aubree is located in Vyalikaval, near sadashivanagar..
Koshy's bakery the preparation placelookscreallt dirty. The cloth covering the cake racks looked shabby and unwashed for years. And the aluminum moulds looks sooo old person ws doing witb his hand too
First like & Comment sir.
4 days of cooling period in open racks closed with clothes! good enough time to for cockroaches and rats! which we can't see but can only imagine!
I'm sure they are aware and have taken the necessary steps decades ago.
Ideally it should be wrapped in cling film or at least stored in airtight or closed location with no rodent or roach access
@@yogamarga6743 Yes but we all know the capabilities of cockroaches and rats 😁 no one can deny...they can sneak in no time!🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀
