I’m sorry, but…if you guys don’t know or remember ANYTHING from the MCU proper…WHY are you even doing these reactions? 🤷♀️ It’s just kinda frustrating. For us, and you, I imagine. Going forward will only get more difficult without context. Sharon CARTER is Peggy Carter’s great niece. She was in both Captain America: Winter Soldier AND Captain America: Civil War. Baron Zemo was the villain in Civil War. Both are major characters. If you choose to continue this, maybe rewatches of at least those two films are in order (or you could try to find a recap on RUclips). Just a friendly suggestion.
@@equusfemina1 This is why folks requested their reactions. They've emphasized being casual fans, not having watched the shows but catching the movies when they initially released. Unlike some, they haven't had multiple viewings of the films. 🤙

Um for a reminder zemo killed the old king of wakanda and framed bucky for it so he was in prison for it. And Sharon got in trouble for helping Steve rogers out in civil war
Sharon Carter niece of Peggy Carter was the shield agent in winter soldier who had an appartment next to captain america to watch over him. She also showed up in civil war at Peggys funeral and to help out and cap and group by getting their gear back.
@@JustLikeAFlowerHe wasn't her uncle tho. Great reaction guys! 😊 You were right that that Zemo was in one of the Captain America movies. It was in the 3rd one, "Captain America: Civil War". Sharon Carter was in both "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and in "Captain America: Civil War". She's Peggy Carter's niece that worked for the CIA(in Captain America: Civil War). Before that she worked for SHIELD(in Captain America: The Winter Soldier). This is one of my favorite episodes. And it ended with the Wakandans coming for Zemo. Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊
She was undercover as a nurse and tasked by Fury to keep eyes on Steve by living in the apartment next door. She's the woman who comes in when Fury is shot.
I am really enjoying your casual fan reactions, it is refreshing in a way. This show is such a love letter to the 3 Captain America movies in the Infinity Saga. They are all worth a rewatch if you have time. While winking and nodding with little details and similarities to the movies, this show also manages to be its own story and eases us into a new era of the MCU and sets up the Earth bound side of what’s to come nicely. This is in my top 3 favorites for the shows and Bucky is in my top 3 favorites of the MCU characters. 3 to go, can’t wait!!! Also, 15:54 “let off some steam” was that a “Commando” reference I heard?
Zemo was the antagonist in Civil War. The Sokovia accords was the reason the Avengers were at odds with each other but it was Zemo that orchestrated the breakup of the Avengers. He was the one that framed Bucky for blowing up the UN summit and killing Black Panther's father. He also was the one that found out that Bucky killed Tony's parents which caused the fight between Iron Man, Cap and Bucky ensuring the breakup of the Avengers. Zemo's family was killed in Sokovia during the final battle of Avengers Age of Ultron and be blames the Avengers for it. He hates superheroes a lot but he hates super soldiers even more.
Right on for the history. Zemo also used Bucky’s trigger words in Civil War to control him for information and have him fight Tony, Steve, Natasha, Sam, Sharon, & T’Challa. That is why Zemo says the “old words” when Bucky first sees him in the cell. Bucky spent time In Wakanda, where they were able to help him control and or get rid of his Winter Soldier programming. He had barely been free of it when he got snapped away for 5 years by Thanos in Infinity War. Bucky has had it rough.
okay so Sharon is "agent 13", she was Steve's "neighbor' keeping an eye on him in Captain America Winter Soldier. She was a shield agent. She was in Captain America Civil war and when Steve and Sam got arrested and their equipment seized she was the one that got their stuff back for them before the big airport fight scene. She apparently got hit hard by the consequence of getting them their equipment and the avengers just kinda left her to fend for herself, hence the attitude towards them. Frankly Sam offering to clear her name is just what he should be doing anyway and not bartering with. Zemo is in fact Baron Zemo that is why he is rich, he is our antagonist in the shadows all through Civil War and is the one that triggered Buck's brainwashing for his own uses, he hates super soldiers and super heroes in general.
I know you're ahead on patreon so you probably already know but Sharon was in Winter Soldier and Civil War. She is Peggy's niece and was a shield agent planted in Steve's apartment building to keep an eye on him. She then later helped him when he was on the run for not signing the accords in Civil War and taking Bucky to keep him out of jail (because he was framed by Zemo) hence her getting Sam's wings to help him save Bucky from Zemo.."his ass from his ass" 🤣. It's fair if you don't properly remember her as casual viewers. Basically the point is she didn't get to just have things smoothed over legally by being buddies with the Avengers and essentially stayed on the run and ended up in Madripoor 😊
Zemo and Sharon were from Civil War. Even though they did a great job in the film, it's easy to forget about them because there were so many different conflicts going on throughout the film
I recommend breakdowns by Heavy Spoilers. He gives you a heads up before he drops spoilers or theorizes (Theory time, Theory time, Theory time) so you can avoid info you don't want. But he gives a ton of info about the comics and stories these shows pull from. Highly recommended.
Since you guys didn't remember who Zemo is: he was he main villain in Captain America: Civil War, and he was the one to break apart the Avengers in the first place.
Seeing Bucky briefly go back into Winter Soldier mode (back in the fight near the seven minute mark) was really cool, and the music reminded me a lot of the Prowler theme from the Spiderman movie.
When Bucky is in Winter Soldier mode or is remembering his past they always play the Winter Soldier’s theme music from the movie. The composer recorded his screams and worked movie music magic. The screams are symbolic of Bucky’s tragic past and what he hears in his head. The MCU does have some awesome scores. *Edit: I am not caught up on the Spider-Verse and hadn’t heard the Prowler’s theme in a while. Just had a listen, they are very similar. Good stuff!
Sharon Carter is Peggy Carter’s niece. She first appeared in Captain America: Winter soldier as Steve’s neighbor and then we found out she was sent to live next to him by Fury to keep an eye on him, so basically she was a Shield agent. In Civil War she was at her aunt’s funeral and then she helped Steve and Falcon by giving them intel about Bucky (who was believed to be the one who killed the King of Wakanda) and stole the Shield and wings from the government after the two were arrested (Steve kissed her to “thank her”, while Bucky and Sam were watching sitting in a small car, hence the joke “Can you move the seat up?” - in the movie it was Bucky sitting in the back of the car, with Sam answering “NO”, so Bucky sort of got his revenge in this episode 😂). Zemo was the villain in Civil War, the one that, despite being human, was able to “destroy an empire from within”, by making the Avengers fighting each other, and he did so by framing Bucky for the murder of the King of Wakanda. And that’s also why, at the end of this episode, one of the Dora Milaje from Wakanda is there and wants Zemo back in prison. His character’s name is actually Baron Zemo, so yeah he’s rich, and he was a soldier in Sokovia, and that’s why he’s pretty well trained in combat and why he wanted revenge against the Avengers, after the battle of Sokovia, in Age of Ultron, killed his entire family. I hope these information refreshed your memory 🤓
It seems like every Disney+ show has a John Wick scene where the main characters get a bounty put on them while the bad guys phones go off, bathed in neon street lights. Actually now that I think about it I'm pretty sure Disney hired 87Eleven (studio behind John Wick) for the scene where Peggy is fighting the henchmen.
Sharon was the SHIELD agent who lived in Steve's building and was assigned by Fury as his bodyguard in Captain America: The Winter Soldier; when SHIELD is disbanded at the end of that film she goes to work for the CIA. In Captain America: Civil War it's revealed that she's Peggy Carter's niece, Sharon, when she speaks at Peggy's funeral. She later tips Steve off to Interpol's hunt for Bucky after the terror attack on the UN branch and later helps Steve & Sam get their equipment back before the fight at the Berlin airport.
I think their are timelines on the internet for all shows and movies in the MCU so that will help. People may bully you for being casual fans but dont let it get to you. Many I bet didn't expect when Wandavision and Falcon and Winter Soldier first came out to be so detailed and connected with the movies. They hold so much lore. Like many said I do recommend watching the Captain America movies, at least Winter Soldier and Civil War again as a refresher. But if you cant thats ok. I enjoy watching your reactions anyway!
Zemo was in Captain America: Civil War. He was the one who revealed the truth to Tony about Bucky killing his parents and that Steve knew. Steve didn't know that it was Bucky who killed them but he knew that they didn't die in a car accident like Tony thought, he knew they were assassinated but not by whom. Zemo was the main cause of the Avengers splitting up. He wanted revenge because he blamed the Avengers for the death of his family in Sikovia during the battle with Ultron.
Sharon is Peggy Carters niece and works for SHIELD…she was Steve’s Neighbor in Winter Soldier then helped out with their equipment in Civil War where ZEMO was the villain and the one who got Steve and Tony to fight
In Captain America 3: Civil War, Zemo is the guy that framed Bucky and showed Tony the video of the Winter Soldier killing his parents which is what broke the Avengers up.
Sharon Carter was introduced in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and she's also in the third Captain America movie (where Zemo is also introduced) Captain America: Civil War.
Zemo was the villain in Captain America: Civil War. He was the one to constantly ask the question "Mission report, December 16, 1991" to get information on that. The one who killed T'Challa's dad (Black Panther). He also was the one to show Tony that Bucky was the one to kill his parents to "break up" the Avengers due to their infighting. The woman you saw in this episode, Sharon Carter, is Peggy Carter's great-niece (you saw her during Peggy's funeral in Captain America: Civil War, and she also kissed Steve Rogers in that same movie)
Sharon Carter is the great niece of legendary S.H.I.E.L.D. founder and Director Peggy Carter who in Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness took the serum instead of Steave Rogers and became Captain Carter. Sharon who is also a member of SHIELD lead by Nick Fury. She first appeared in The Winter Soldier and Civil War. In the comics Sharon Carter and Peggy Carter were sisters
I only just realized, the FATWS poster has a kinda notorious Prague view, but the show never actually takes place there. A lot of the show was shot there, but it poses as other places.
damn...again!!! i always repeat the intro simultaneously with MQ and i always get the last part wrong where he says either guys or folks :) love you guys...
NewRockstars youtube channel has breakdowns of each individual episode as they watch it so each episode doesnt spoil the next because at the the time they hadnt watched it yet.
Oak, you could watch New Rockstars or ScreenCrush's episode breakdowns, they came out weekly with the episodes so they didn't know the rest of the show when they made the breakdowns. Only thing is that they theorise a lot, so you might consider some of their educated guesses spoilery when they turn out right
Sharon Carter aka agent 13 is Peggy Carter niece she was in Captain America Winter soldier and in Captain America civil war movie. Also in the civil war movie we were introduced to zemo who caused the rift between Captain America and iron Man and had the government turn on avengers while also exposing wakanda to the rest of the world. Zemo did all this because his family was killed in avengers age of Ultron which calls him to hate all superpowers being calling him to see that all superpower beings are what's wrong with the world.
Sharon Carter, Peggy's granddaughter and temporary love interest for Steve (which given hindsight is worth forgetting). She was in Winter Soldier - she was a SHIELD agent acting as Steve's neighbour for a bit until staying in SHIELD and helping fight HYDRA - and in Civil War where as she said she got Cap and Sam's equipment for them, it was the scene before they introduced Steve to Ant-Man. The Power Broker and Wilfred Nagel are both comic book characters too; Power Broker was a minor villain, Nagel in the comics was the one who created Isaiah Bradley's super soldier serum much like the show, he used an alias though. Zemo's purple mask is a comics thing too, the original Baron Zemo had the mask accidentally fused to his face by Captain America, the present-day iteration wears it for branding.
I see no one wants to explain the Wakanda connection. You can't tell the story of Zemo and Sharon Carter, or the film of Captain America Civil War without mentioning that Zemo (who blamed the Avengers for the death of his family during Age of Ultron) tried to frame Bucky for the death of the Wakandan King, T'Chaka (T'Challa and Shuri's father). T'Challa took the mantel of the Black Panther and went after Bucky to kill him and avenge his father. Steve Rogers (with the help of Sam and Sharon) stopped him and found out what really happened. T'Challa/Black Panther spared Zemo's life and made sure he went to prison. Sharon, Sam and Steve went on the run. But Steve took Bucky to Wakanda to T'Challa and Shuri. Shuri reprogrammed Bucky -- got the influence of the HYDRA out of him so he could no long be triggered. Shuri did that. T'Challa allowed Bucky to stay in Wakanda while he recovered. Zemo went to prison. Steve and Sharon were in the wind. That's the entire story.
Zemo was the villian in Captain America : Civil War, where he gets the book with the trigger words for Bucky from an old HYDRA agent, kills all the frozen winter soldiers and shows Tony, Steve and Bucky the clip of the winter soldier (Bucky) killing his parents and stealing super serum. Sharon first appears in Captain America : The Winter Soldier as an undercover SHIELD agent living in the same apartment building as Steve. She comes in to help when Fury gets shot.
You may not remembed as it was REALLY early on but Sharon is Peggy Carters niece. She was a small character (so to speak) so many kinda fo forgot about. Sort of like many forgot about Zemo. Though I always loved him.
Sharon, aka Sharon Carter. She is Peggy Carters neice and the woman who Nick Fury entrusted to guard Steve Rogers when Hydra took over Shield. She helped stop Hydra's take over and she helped Steve escape capture. So yeah, she is a pretty badass character. I hope her story continues beyond Falcon & Winter Soldier. Although with all the bs Marvel is undergoing right now, probably not. Which really sucks.
Another great reaction! Zemo I believe was in captain America civil war..? Correct me if I’m wrong but he was pretending to be Bucky, killed King Tchaka (king tchallas dad), hence why wakanda isn’t fond of zemo and had Tony and Steve against each other. Really great movie it feels like an avengers movie more than anything if you guys are ever interested. Can’t wait for the next couple episodes! They’re the best!
Zemo is from captain america civil war, he is the bad guy that destroys the avengers by splitting them and Sharon is from winter soldier and civil war, she worked for the goverment, she was friends with Steve but at the end of civil war she breaks the Sokovia accords to give Cap his shield so he can help Bucky
Just to mess with Sams mind I'd hoped Zemo'd send enough money to Sams sister to help them out as their money worries were nothing for him and he never asks for repayment of any kind .Sams inner termoil was amusing enough.
If you go on DIsney plus they have the Marvel Universe listed under one Timeline heading and they have it all in order of how to watch it. The only thing not in that timeline is Agents of Shield.
The big difference between Steve Rogers and John Walker can be framed in terms of the wars they fought in. Steve fought in WWII, probably the most morally upstanding war you could be a veteran of (there were political motives for each of the Allies to get involved and some messed up tactics were employed, but at least we were fighting the N@zis) John, depending on his age and when he enlisted, could have fought in any number of America's shadier wars (both in motive and in tactics), much like The Punisher, who is on a similar level of anti-heroism. Thematically, a lot of Steve-centric storylines have him contending with the way modern America handles war and politics, compared to the idealism of his own time; and wrestling with where he fits in as a symbol and as a soldier.
Honestly i really liked this show. Bcuz of cvid+19, they had to pivot from the original story and apparently it wouldve been crazy like having the red hulk, etc in the rumor mill but the writer isnt allowed to give details on what it was originally.
We also give out our monthly Patreon/YT members schedule at the beginning of each month on our community tab. That will give you a glimpse of what's to come.
I really like this show, but the part with Zemo and his mask is just such a ridiculous fan service. It's funny, but I kind of like it because he is comic book accurate for just a few seconds.

Sharon who is also a member of SHIELD lead by Nick Fury. She first appeared in The Winter Soldier and Civil War. In the comics Sharon Carter and Peggy Carter were sisters
WAKANDA FOREVER REST IN PARADISE 👑 KING CHADWICK BOSEMAN
Only thing is that they theorise a lot, so you might consider some of their educated guesses spoilery when they turn out right
Agent carters daughter. She was kind of Steves handler in Captain America when he first unfroze from the ice. Live across the hall in his apartment.
Sharon is introduce in captain America 2 and shows up in 3, might be worth rewatching those movies
Those 2 movies are always worthy of a rewatch 😄
Rewatch Capitan American- The Winter Soldier and Civil War. You’ll be more up to date on everyone in the story
100%!!! They should’ve rewatched them before hand
Great neice fyi
Grand niece not Grand daughter
@@leonr1985 you've been beaten to it bud
So that you won't forget@@dannybob42
sharon is a former shield agent and was in civil war and winter soldier
Episode 4 coming up is my favorite of the show 👍🏽. Bit of a heads up the end credits are in the last two episodes.
Zemo was antagonist of Civil War
Sharon Carter - Agent 13 - Steve's neighbor in Winter Soldier and Peggy's niece
Zemo was the villian in Captain America : Civil War, where he gets the book with the trigger words for Bucky from an old HYDRA agent, kills all the frozen winter soldiers and shows Tony, Steve and Bucky the clip of the winter soldier (Bucky) killing his parents and stealing super serum. Sharon first appears in Captain America : The Winter Soldier as an undercover SHIELD agent living in the same apartment building as Steve. She comes in to help when Fury gets shot.
She is Peggy Carters niece. She was in Captain America Civil War.
Introduced in Captain America Winter Soldier
It's weird to see the actress for Sharon Carter is currently as a nurse in the tv show that's she's in.
Sharon Carter is Peggy Carters niece & from Captain America the winter soldier.
I thought that was on your guys playlist. If not, it should be.
emergency awesome youtube channel does episode by episode breakdown. I really enjoy that channel!
New Rockstars has a wonderful breakdown pf most show from the MCU. per episode
I could never be a reactor......my memory is way too good. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
They’re the best!
zemo is a great guy, if you get to know him.
'Captain America: Civil War' has the answers you seek concerning Sharon and Zemo.
I love this show. Definitely in my top 3 of Marvel shows. Can’t wait for Cap 4. I hope you guys might do more Marvel shows. 😊
I could've sworn these guys watched CA: Civil War. It's like they don't remember a thing from it.
Zemo was in civil war. He had the vid of winter soldier killing tonys parents
If I were you, I would find a recap of the captain America movies. All the characters you need to know are from winter soldier and civil war.
I loved Sharon's fight scenes. I think she was in Capt. America 2.
Not remembering Shannon or Zeno must be a crime of some sort😮
I know these 2 say they're only somewhat Marvel watchers but.... Have they not seen Civil War?!! (Tears hair out)😂😮
Wish u guys did a rewatch of the mcu movies I'd watch u guys rewatching them 100%. Everything would make more sense for u guys
"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM ?!!" Ok Homelander
You guys really needed to refresh on the Captain America movies, seems like you don't remember any of the characters from those movies lol
The big difference between Steve Rogers and John Walker can be framed in terms of the wars they fought in.
Steve fought in WWII, probably the most morally upstanding war you could be a veteran of (there were political motives for each of the Allies to get involved and some messed up tactics were employed, but at least we were fighting the N@zis)
John, depending on his age and when he enlisted, could have fought in any number of America's shadier wars (both in motive and in tactics), much like The Punisher, who is on a similar level of anti-heroism.
Thematically, a lot of Steve-centric storylines have him contending with the way modern America handles war and politics, compared to the idealism of his own time; and wrestling with where he fits in as a symbol and as a soldier.
I highly recommend you guys the show Severance😇
Sharon is Peggys niece. Everything you are confused about was answered in Winter Solider.
Honestly i really liked this show. Bcuz of cvid+19, they had to pivot from the original story and apparently it wouldve been crazy like having the red hulk, etc in the rumor mill but the writer isnt allowed to give details on what it was originally.
I like new rockstars for episode and movie breakdowns for the MCU
Zemo is from Captain america 3 civil war!!
Thank you thank you
Walker has PTSD
Well they did say casual fans afterall..
Sharon carter is Peggy carters niece. Which Peggy Carter is Caps old fling. Also Zemo was the bad guy for Cap3
You got to watch New Rockstars break down
I think there's still time that you guys WATCH Captain America: Civil War.
It's gonna make so much sense.
Hey when ya watching Vikram !? You may not remember the Characters and name from Kaithi .
We also give out our monthly Patreon/YT members schedule at the beginning of each month on our community tab. That will give you a glimpse of what's to come.
A bit off topic, but may I know what happened to the Fast X reaction on your channel? It seemed to have disappeared
Did you guys watch any of the Cap movies??
You guys should watch Captain America Civil War. It will clear up confusion on Zemo and Sharon
They did. But haven't seen it since it came out in 2016.
@BaddMedicine ahhh that's fair. Great reaction guys!! Glad you guys are doing the marvel shows!
I really like this show, but the part with Zemo and his mask is just such a ridiculous fan service. It's funny, but I kind of like it because he is comic book accurate for just a few seconds.
