Great projects. I think you can also use spellbinders glimmer foil and wrmk foil quill foil. They use heat and pressure to apply.

I think double sided tape is better for card making rather than glue.

For the text foil, when I put Action Sketch and Tool Heat Pen, there is no way to turn on the heat pen. I wish they let you turn it on/off whenever the tool is in the machine.
