It’s way more than $110 dollars in the US now. It’s now in the $230-250 range, which is unfortunate. Since Billy Walker left Glendronach, it’s time to also leave them and head towards the craft distillers, such as Billy Walker’s new distillery, Glenallarchie.

Yep! The 18 is extremely difficult to find now, the 21 is getting very hard and both are going up through the roof. Only part of Horst’s prediction I disagree with is that I doubt prices will come back down to a reasonable level once the production increases again, at least here is Australia that is the case 😢
One of my most if not top Drams. Amazingly delicious. I am actually just sipping first time on the Glendronach 18 Allardice and all I can say is wow!. When the bottle is open for awhile I will do a side by side with the 21. I know its hard to do these tastings but somebody has to do it!....:) Slainte!
I thought the crow joke was going in another direction: The CEO and Board of BMW are sitting in a conference room. The fellow who clapped to make the crows go away claps again and says: "Go away, you are all fired" Excellent review by a great Father/Son team!!!
Hello Men. I have to agree with you this is the best scotch I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy and would have to say 94 to 97 points is my score! I'm a big fan of ECBP Bourbon but this Scotch makes me understand why many people prefer Scotch. So yummy and so smooth!....Slainte!
Drinking a dram of this definitely improves the video. I was on my last sip when they suggested keeping it in your mouth one second for each year of aging: great advice. Unfortunately one dram was all I had. When is Masters of Malt going to figure a way to sell in the States again?

I finally just broke down and bought a bottle of this (first time I bought a bottle from the locked, glass display case - $270). I'm mainly a bourbon drinker, but Glendronach is the one scotch I drink (the 12 year, 15 year and the Port-Cask no-age statement (I've never seen the 18 year anywhere). I have to say, I expected the 21 to be a more intense version of the 15, but it's entirely different. The 21 has a very leathery, tobacco taste (like a cigar, I suppose). It's very interesting - like nothing else I've ever tasted. I like it. I was sure I'd have buyer's remorse due to the cost, but I feel good about the purchase. I just need to make it last.
Just a tip if you ever decide you want another bottle...you can order it from some UK sites and, even after shipping fees to the US, it's still around $200. Plus you can save a bit on shipping if you order other bottles as well, as most sites start with a flat 30ish pounds and add ten per bottle.

I thought I was a whisky nerd, then I saw a review start with drone footage of the distillery and infrared footage of the pot still lol.

A Parliament of Rooks :) Rooks are similar to crows etc. Also I learned the other day "An Unkindness of Ravens"!

i wonder how similar this tastes to macallan's 18 year sherry oak.
They are actually quite similar. Glendronach is more on the fruity side, and Macallan has more spicy notes.
