You nailed the Johnny Cash sound and feel. Very much in the spirit of A Boy Named Sue and One Piece At a Time indeed, with excellent lyrics to back it up. Very nice work.
Thank you for a song dedicated to the banks of America. My contribution is that I've written and posted a little "love song" video as a tribute the banks, too, as well for their valiant efforts to make this a great recession for as many people as they can! I figured it would be appropriate to illustrate it with photos from the Great Depression where banks did the same thing that they are now getting to repeat now.
Habib's accent in the duet is awesome. remy, if you ever read these comments, I think your videos are utter genius and you should be hired by companies to do commercials and ads.
Guess I should comment on your videos individually even though the comments are gonna be all positive. Thanks for the laughs! This one even mentioned Delaware, that alone makes it worth checking out. Great work, keep it up.
Funny as hell! You are very talented. I dont know where you get all your ideas but keep it up. I love your videos! YOu definetly should talk to an agent or something, get your own tv show on comedy central.
This one is awesome. I don't usually like your country songs. I like the rap style videos more, but this one was pretty good. It had some great lyrics and was funny, too. :)
It's great! Reminds me of C.W. McCall. Love to hear you do more country stuff, especially since that's what you love. How did you get into rap? (I love your rap stuff, too, though!!!)
@alcoatari Yes Johnny Cash is country and folk. He is also rock and roll. It is all a derivative from similar concepts. Country and Rock share a common ground...and a lot of that is bluesy stuff from the early 20th century. And I'm sure that has its own separate set of influences too.
I've been binging all of these twelve years after they were made.
Love them, Remy!
Check ReasonTV. That's where Remy's been up to now.
And me 13 years after they were made!
Same. What a talented artist!
15 not 12 years
7 years later and still hilarious
17 years and still funny
Remy, I love the Johnny Cash feel, you got it down nice with this song.
About half of Johny Cash's songs were about shooting someone.
So that was pretty clever.
One of my best songs ever even after 8 years it's still amazing
You nailed it (Johnny Cash style)! lol, I just realized that you made this 15 years ago - timeless fun!!
he is probably the coolest guy on youtube.
i have heard this literally 100 times, and i still love it.
You nailed the Johnny Cash sound and feel. Very much in the spirit of A Boy Named Sue and One Piece At a Time indeed, with excellent lyrics to back it up. Very nice work.

That's really good work, particularly keeping up the quality of the lyrics for a song of that length. The sound is a good one.
Thank you.
what makes this suck a good paddy, is that it holds so true to the original style. it was wonderful.
Your stuff is great Remy. Don't stop.
This transports me back to 2008.
I remember you from years ago when i first got into youtube. time to catch up again
