Interesting fact: Isi's first language is German! :0
Great video guys!! Love the Hobnob's because of the name; totally British
#bestcommentever 👊
i'm english and this content is OUTSTANDING
Thaaaaanks! 👊
We Bangladeshis also have a daily routine of drinking tea with various kinds of biscuits! And actually this tradition of eating biscuits have come to Indian Subcontinent from Britain! But we also eat hard toast biscuits (my grand-mother's favourite) and spicy biscuits!
Nice! I have a desire to come and make a video about the similarities between Indians and Brits, but maybe it should also include Bangladeshis too 🤷🏻♂️ greetings from Brighton ✌🏻
Love, love, love. Makes me "homesick" for England. I'm with Isi i.e. chocolate digestive biscuits/hobnobs. Maybe that's because we're both German. And those Jaffa Cakes are big in GE, too.
Different type video, but interesting. I learnt a lot about biscuits. Thanks.
You're welcome Mohammed 👊
Very entertaining video. I learnt quite a bit. Love the thought of new Scottish brides getting bonked over the head with shortbread. Decent tea colour - not too much milk. Including Jammie Dodgers and Jaffa Cakes in the context of tea: Utter madness. Omitting Rich TEA ginger nuts and bourbons: criminal. The dunking is an art in itself. E.g. a rich tea will almost dissolve at the sight of liquid, so you have to be on your toes!
Thanks Patrick! Shortbreads are potential murder weapons, they're so sturdy. Me and Isi are more than willing to make part 2 with your suggestions
For me it's a digestive plain or chocolate every time. Thanks for highlighting this quintessentially British obsession with biscuits.
Thanks Anna, I'm with you on the chocolate digestive
I like the fingers biscuit
Digestive dark chocolate are the best, love when the chocolate melts with a nice cup of tea ☕
Thanks for this video, very informative.
Ooh... luxurious
Very interesting topic ! :)
Thanks! 👊
Aaah, English biscuits! My every time favorites are digestives from Mc Vities - so simple and so good. What I like most about your biscuits is that they aren't so sweet - maybe even a touch of saltiness or heartiness (does this word exist?) about them. Hobnobs are also fine and ginger snaps - they give such a warming feel. Aaargh, now you made me crave for biscuits! 😅
I'm not a big fan of biscuits, but that one with chocolate chips seems quite good to me (the only ones I eat from time to time are quite similar).
I absolutely love Spanish polvorones and mantecados accompanying tea or milk. The village of my grandparents and the nearby cities make some of the best ones of Spain 😋, but as a downside, they are made almost exclusively around Christmas. I'm dreaming of them the whole year.
Oooh I have no idea what both of those are. I will ask Easy Spanish to make their version just so I can see what they look like 😋
@@EasyEnglishVideos nice!
I want to taste all of them!! I had fun with the video! Thank you! Isi guapa!!
You’re welcome Lidia
Nice video!
Thanks!!!
Nothing beats those buttery, crumbly shortbread biscuits with a nice cup of Earl Grey's....
😋😋
I miss dark chocolate HobNobs. 😢
Hey you forgot danish cookies! Am sure Isi will give it a 10/10!
I love biscuits😍 Actually I'm intolerant to wheat and dairy products so I always look for something that don't contain those ingredients.
Well, here in Italy, I've found a good dark chocolate biscuit with chocolate chunks, my God, I eat too much of them, with soya drink 😂😂😂 or just alone.
I would like to try also those with oat flakes (no milk chocolate) and I always wanted to try shortbread biscuits.... Maybe when I'll visit Scotland😍
Thanks for this interesting video👏👏👏👏👋👋👋🇮🇹
Haha we’re all culpable of having one too many biscuits, I actually think it’s impossible to just have one biscuit. Hope you find your way to Scotland one day soon... thanks for your kind words 👊
McVities Hobnobs sometimes. I am not a tea drinker anyway...
Great video again!
20k subs soon!
Thanks! Your support is appreciated 👊
I used to eat digestive chocolate so it is my favorite biscuit but it is true Cadbury's fingers is really good, I became mad when I ate it in UK!! Great video guys!! 👍
Thanks Francisco! I hope you find Cadbury’s fingers
@@EasyEnglishVideos in Spain, it is not as easy as UK but we can find it in a supermarket. There are others but they are a bad imitation!! 😂
Do you throw the tea away after everything being dipped in it?
Well, ideally you’d drink it... in this case, my tea resembled porridge at the end. I did think about drinking it though 😂
Was the temperature of the tea all the same? Or did you use the same cup for all the biscuits? If so, it was hotter for the first biscuit and cooler for the last! #1 everything Scottish, #2 Cadbury fingers. I wonder if you are British and the fact that the Scottish cookies were voted best just stung a little! 😈
It was the same cup but it was boiling hot regardless I can confirm... maybe not a test with the most scientific accuracy though. I am British but luckily the Scottish biscuits are produced in my birth town of Stockport so it's a win-win scenario
@@EasyEnglishVideos 😄 It sure is! 💗
i got hungry
🤣😂🤣
Where are the Bourbons!!!!????
Omg no party rings ,no bourbons its a travesty!
There’s always room for part 2
I never dunk biscuits in my tea I like dream and strawberry sandwiches and cucumber ones ,with no dunking please Otherwise à super lesson on dunking I have been wise not To dunk
By the way the dodgy scene where all the biscuits sloped into the tea made me feel a bit sick! All these McVities biscuits supposedly Scottish, the factory was in moss side Manchester!
You’re lucky you didn’t have to hear it all slopping in 🤢 surely it’s originally Scottish with a name like McVities?
