Im running the 135 combi great bit of kit. All my hedgetrimmers are on the batteries 🔋 wouldnt go back to petrol for hedgecutting personally
Enjoyed from Texas! Thank you very helpful!
Good stuff as always lads 👍.
Be sticking with my KM 131R 😅
Nice video, battery is a game changer, gives you all the power, with maximum benefits
Great video and demo guys! 🤠
Thank you Stevo 🙌🏻🤩
Love it 👍🏻 Thats a versatile machine. But for Multitools I prefer an other brand where I also got two petrol powered ones from (122LK and 525LK) with different attachements
I am currently using the AK system with individual tools. However am considering the AK80R. would have liked to have seen this tested with the lawn edging and pole saw attachments.
Nice One Josh Thanks again
Cheers Darran 👍🏼
I’ve got the Kma 135R and it’s great but lacks power compared to the petrol so these too as nice as they look probably wouldn’t be good enough for the amount of use they’ll get on a professional daily basis
I find the battery’s don’t last very long either that’s my only gripe
I love the concept and hope stihl can make battery’s that are more economical with better run time especially if they want more people to make the switch for a greener future
Great video mate
I have the kombi gas version with a saw, hedge trimmer and line trimmer. I’m debating weather to switch over to battery powered ones 🧐
You guys always make such good quality and informative videos… Even down to the explaining how each tool works and specifications. Even showing a quick and thorough demonstration each.
You wouldn’t need to replace the tool portions. All the ones you have should work with the electric kombi motor. You’d just be replacing the motor. I follow this guy Fills Lawncare and he has both. He runs a lawn edger all the time on his battery kombi motor, but sometimes switches to his gas kombi motor for bigger jobs. He uses the same edger tool portion with both gas and battery kombi motors.
I bought a HLA 86 a few years ago and found it completely underpowered compared to my previous KM90 R. I ended up bringing it back
Combi units are excellent, I have the Husqvarna 535LK, and it has the power to do almost everything! It is a tad heavy, and rather expensive though!
We have the Ego version. I like one battery fits all Ego tools.
Yes the two battery system of Stihl is a real put off. If you wanted to upgrade the battery you can't.
@@Rottingboards You just need to pick a homeowner line or commercial line and stick with it. not complicated at all
@@_CarlosA Yep, I chose the commercial side and bought a Kombi.
@@_CarlosA I just hate that Stihl does this to their customer.
Thanks for doing the video. You made my mind up on which one I'm going for. Go big or go home 😂
Nice job Josh, see, I was on my best behavior today. 😇🤣
Does anyone know why these are not rated to be used with the bent shaft trimmer attachment? Which engines are?
News to me, we will look into it 👍🏼
@@MachineryNation Apparently, something to do with the flexible drive system that does not work well with the electric power torque. The straight drive combo tools are driven by a solid shaft.
I have the FSA135 over 3 years have used and abused never have a problem, to bad not even the AP500 S battery is up to the machine. Battery technology still light years away for commercial use.
First time triming bro? 😊😊😊
An absence of challenging work in there to really see how they would cope. Myself I'll stick with the petrol. I have had two KM94 2 Mix engines and a full suite of attachments and used them domestically on a few properties over the course of the last ten years or so. Overall a great system however on changing them out for a new set recently I found the adjustable angle hedge trimmer bar had become shorter which makes it less efficient and now has crappy painted trim, and the pole saw chain dropped to 1/4" from 3/8". In comparison with the Husqi equivalent the Stihl gear seems borderline domestic quality which is disappointing. However the Husqi equivalent engine is heavier and the Stihl blower is fantastic so until the next change out I'll stick with the Stihl system. I love the KM94 engine- simple, light weight, economical, adequate power, low maintenance, and reliable- mine never missed a beat. As well no expensive heavy batteries to degrade over time or burn my house down, or extra ones needed to buy to be able to do a days work. Our local Husqi dealer burnt to the ground one night a few years ago from a battery deciding to burst into flames for no reason.
looks so under powered……
Petrol dinosaurs will be chirping away
Nice tools, but very expensive.
Good quality doesn't come cheap.
Nice specs 😂
My km94 and km131 will run all day , how many batteries would you need for that
I’m guessing you need to fill it up with fuel a few times, if not you need to work it harder haha 😉 depends which tool hedge trimming probably 3 batteries for a full days work.
I use up to 2 batteries a day , I also wouldn’t go back to petrol .
Battery has decades to go when it will be actually useful
