good tech, but for god's sake Airbus, save me a job as a PROPER pilot when I grow up.
genuinely, any practical thinker would have thought of this, and this is not all just nice safe flying, but there are generations as a whole that dream of one day FLYING a plane, not sitting and monitoring a bunch of planes. Air Traffic controllers monitors, and dispatchers become programmers, and pilots, become people sitting at home and flying p3d, X-Plane and MSFS, just wishing they had a real job to do as a proper pilot, frankly because airlines would prefer self-flying planes, 'cause they don't need to pay pilots in this case. The present airbusses, (especially the A320 family) have just the perfect amount of automation, and they are just so loved!
