There is something warm and enveloping about Grey Flannel on a chilly, drizzly ... dare I say 'grey' fall or winters day. You are my go-to youtuber for classic & classy old school fragrances.
Woke up early this late October morning to a drizzly, dreary, grey sky which seems just right as we have been experiencing drought conditions. I am enjoying a hot cup of coffee while my thoughts are already contemplating the day's fragrance, a true fragrance lovers M.O. 😂. The obvious and really only choice is my beloved Grey Flannel. I am so excited to finally enjoy it's green, musky, earthy bouquet in such conditions as today has offered. It just wraps the wearer in the most beautiful fragrance cloud that seems tailor made for this dank, fall weather. As a side note: I simply adore WD! Very interesting lineup of fragrances. I was going to bring up the link between Cabochard and Aramis but you expertly beat me to it. I don't have Cabochard but I do have Aramis. My Dad used to wear Aramis back in the late 1960's early 70's. It's one of the few "rough" fragrances I like (along with Hermès Bel Ami). Facannable is an interesting fragrance. @@karlsenula9495 oh I’m sorry your having trouble finding the others in this line. Be persistent, in time I’m sure they will show up. Cheers
My friend, can I ask, who is that in your intro?😎
Well it’s a bit of movie magic Major Tom. I took an old photo of me when I was 25 and with the Re-Face app I transposed my face onto a variety of different models and actors. And if you look really carefully there I one actual photo of me from 1980. Cheers
Really miss your content. Dont watch too many reviewers anymore.
Ah, thank you Eric. Cheers
❤
Thank you darling Tiff!
Who is the man in the intro??
Well, Jessee I'll tell you, but it is a secret just between you and me. The man is me; you see I took a photo of myself taken when I was 22 and with Lensa I created these photos with several different fashion models and film stars such as Tyrone Power, Alain Delon, Richard Gere and so on. So now you know. Oh yes, One fellow in a hound's tooth coat and no moustache is not me, but a friend of mine who is a property master in Hollywood. Lensa again. Cheers.
@@laniersmith1798 You look like a 1930s Hollywood actor!! I was so perplexed to see one I hadn’t known of, who looked so familiar, especially such a handsome one! I can very much see that it’s you now, that explains how intrigued I was. very very good looking, classy gentleman you are!
@@JDlupin thank you Jessee that’s very nice of you to say. Cheers!

Thank you Christian! Cheers.

Thank you! Cheers
two uploads within days of each other..does this mean Lanier's back..?
Well, you never know with Lanier... If you think of him like the old Studio system, it goes something like this. Lanier is like Goldwyn Studios in the 1940's as compared to MGM, Fox, Colombia and Warner Brothers. Not a lot of productions in comparison to those giants, but when Goldwyn put out a picture it was usually a good one. Just finished a review of Safari for Men and for Women so that should be up soon. Let's see how that goes. Cheers Western-Oud.

I'm a warm-blooded fragrance enthusiast on the internet, so a cheapy list gets me salivating (Gets my atomizer spraying? Gross).
LOL careful where you point your atomizer! Cheers VitaminBeez.

Rochas Globe is not inexpensive anymore Lanier 🥲
Yes it has gone up recently on most sites but I have found it at a reasonable price on EBay. It just takes a bit of searching. Cheers!
