Love him dearly. One of my fave humans, super talented, generous and kind.
I was lucky enough to actually chat to Simon at this event, he took photos with anyone who wanted one and was very generous with his time. Which is the opposite of what I expected. Complete contrast to Robert who I think took maybe 2 photos and grumbled about it, but that’s why I love Robert too, he’s so unapologetically disinterested and honest. Both legends and leagues ahead of some of the crap at this event.

Yes. A lot of folk and fans know how good his work, is. But, hes also an extraordinary, decent, man. There's so many examples of that over the years. Very thoughtfull in nature. As are the other guys. Allways availiable for the public, if possible.

Why was he giving out an award at the NME they have always been rather harsh on Duran Duran and certainly not their biggest fan publication, and that interviewer was appalling Simon was brilliant and as usual very natural xx

Haven’t heard of Churches pre pandemic. Glass Animals (to be fair I said glass houses by accident before editing) is also effeminate. Simon Le Bon likes a lot of songs that women like because I think he’s effeminate himself and very very very . He’s denied being gay which is actually on their band website. I will bet my life he will come out as bisexual before he turns 70. It’s not a good business plan to come out now especially as the lead in the band. For me … I can’t listen to Duran Duran anymore because of that. I’ve never crushed on him like I did a few others - embarrassed to admit. Two are also like that. And no- I have nothing against gays at all. But when the lead singer starts to ooze out his true orientation YEARS after, I can’t feel the same anymore. Here’s the thing though when it comes to Freddie Mercury from Queen, You don’t think of his sexuality so much because he was such an amazing artist and he was true to his core. And that is someone who just happened to be a gay man that I will always respect, cherish and love.

Is it just me, or did it seem like Simon was getting a little bit of an attitude with the interviewer? Hopefully that wasn't his first time interviewing a celebrity. If it was, I can only imagine the bad first impression that Simon may have left him with.
To make matters worse, Simon wore a formal blue suit and dressed it down with white tennis shoes, when he should've worn formal BLACK SHOES. I say this because there are pictures of Simon standing with Ivorian Doll on social media.
I love Simon and John but white tennis shoes, especially WHITE SNEAKERS DON'T COORDINATE with everything. LOL!
Yes, he was walking around with a bottle of wine in his hand off camera. He’s a human on a night out, who cares, and this was filmed at 8pm so not that early.
